Does anyone have any details on this item beyond internet claims and rumors? It’s history, where it came from? When did it emerge? Where is it now? Is it genuine? How do we know?
I’ve seen rumours about it, who owns it, how it was obtained... But nothing more than internet strangers making claims with no documentation or substantiation.
It doesn’t seem to have been online before news of Rami having been cast. So, it’s suspicious this “popped up” at the time that it did.

Here's what the letter says, at least:
Dear (?) A,
Thanks for the flowers! I love that Roses. You make me a very happy man! - yes. happy as i have ever been in my life.
Love, Freddie
That's some wacky grammar.

Love, Freddie That's some wacky grammar. Agreed. Not just the grammar mistake, but the off phrasing of “yes - happy as I have never been”. It comes off as though someone with English as a second language wrote it.

"Happy as I have never been in my life" doesn't seem particularly odd to me. I do think that "I love that Roses" is very strange - I cannot imagine Freddie referring to "roses" with "that", but people do make weird mistakes from time to time. Also, why the capitalized "Roses"? There are no other unusual capitalizations. Was there supposed to be a full stop before "Roses" and is the mark after it not actually a full stop but a dash? It doesn't look like the dash after "happy man!": too low, too short.
A strange note. I'd have to see a lot more about its provenance before I would dare say anything about the authenticity.

It's very weird, even if he's talking about flowers and Roses, as in the tin of Christmas chocolates, it still doesn't make sense. I can't see it being real, maybe it's been made by copying words from other letters?

Does anyone know when this note first become public? Was it after BoRhap production started? Is anyone good at googling Photos to find the earliest known posting online?

I tried a reverse image search and the earliest time I saw this picture was a post on Pinterest taken on February 2020 (?, i forgot what date it said).

It’s just weird that it popped up out of nowhere after all this time. The timing is weird. And if the Hutton family sold it after his death, you’d think there would be discussion about it online somewhere as he died in 2010.
