however, it's interesting how (generally) the same old crud lurks in the nether reaches of the barrel. in the top five lines there's only TWO songs that bemuse me Jesus and Get Down, Make Love. Musically, they're both really interesting songs - and (regardless) far, far, far from Queen's worst, surely?.

There are many good and very clever songs like some big hits (watch, Iwtbf) which have genius writing, but the constant playing makes them boring. But it isn't right to diminish them as bad songs. For me I WTBF is very well crafted song, very good orchestrated (minus the synth solo), it is not so simple either, since it has some interesting turns.
As I have said before, if some oo their "worst" songs were given to any other artist, with different production - orchestration, they could have a better faith. They just don't suit Queen, despite being a band with versatile. So that's another reason which I don't like some of their songs.

Them haven't got "bad" songs, in my opinion. we usually use the word "bad" in case of music when point out something distasteful, ridiculous, horrific etc. They only got fillers. Really songs to fill spaces, they aren't "bad" but we can live w/out them.
And here's my list: More of That Jazz, Soul Brother, Sleeping on a Sidewalk, Don't Loose Your Head, Khashogi's Ship/Party, Rain Must Fall, Delilah. When in my teens i also hated Sweet Lady, Body Language, Heaven for Everyone & You Don't Fool Me...but over the years got listen to more thoroughly, they are really interesting gems.
But i can do w/out Body Language and GDML, these are are thin, meaningless songs. YdFM is also kinda filler, and would'be rubbish, if not the vocal and overall mood, really tearjerker at times

I'd definitely pick Delilah too. I also would like to bring You're My Best Friend to the table. Although there are songs I like a lot less (like half the songs on The Works and half the songs on AKOM), I never understood why it was such a hit and why John gets so much love for this song. He's got many better songs nobody even remembers. The piano on it annoys me, the melody is way too cheesy and the lyrics are almost childish. Shame on all of you who are bashing Sweet Lady because of the "sweet like some kind of cheese" line and ignoring the silliest Queen hit on the very same album!

I rank that solo up there with the best of Brian’s album work. Great solo that fits the song so well. YDFM has an amazing solo!

One of the best moments on Made In Heaven is that solo. It's got so much attitude and is very different from a lot of his other work. Highly underrated. Plus, I think the song is absolutely brilliant. It's so simple and punchy.

In my opinion Made In Heaven hasn't got a bad song, just weaker songs like there is on every Queen album.

In my opinion Made In Heaven hasn't got a bad song, just weaker songs like there is on every Queen album. Agreed. I'd also argue it has the best production. The weakest song, if you want to call it that, is My Life Has Been Saved. But the sentiment is too pure for me not to like it. However, I despise the damn baby crying at the end of Mother Love. It almost ruins the track for me. I just can't stand it. It should have ended with Goin' Back.

The baby crying doesn't suit the song well and is a bit of a let down. I mean it's saying something if it's just one sound effect at the end of an album track to say that's the worst bit on the album!
I still love My Life Has Been Saved, I think I rather this album version to the original 1989 version.

In fact, I'd argue that that, and Delilah are probably the worst two songs in the whole Queen catalogue.

I've started to enjoy Drowse and Coming Soon. Don't Lose Your Head has been one that I rather dislike but I sang a bit of it to myself this week watching the new season of The Great British Bake-off. One of the contestants did a cake that was a bust of Freddie and she had a bit of problem with the head falling off and of course that song immediately popped into my mind.

Listened to A Kind of Magic on my way home tonight with my wife, and we both agreed that One Year of Love, Pain Is So Close to Pleasure, and Friends Will Be Friends were weak and are overshadowed by everything else on the album. They're way too fluffy. So perhaps I might add that bunch to my 'least favorite' list, even though I've had a soft spot for PISCTP (as a standalone track).

Am I the only one on here who loves One Year Of Love?! I also love the intro on the extended version. It seems that Brian and Roger both like the song too as it appears on Deep Cuts and Queen Forever.

I especially like the saxophone solo. What kills it for me is...unfortunately...Freddie. I just feel his voice is on the verge of breaking apart and he sounds uncomfortable. Perhaps they could have changed the key and taken it down a few half steps. Otherwise, it's an okay tune. And for all I know, he wanted his voice to be heard that way so as to convey what the character in the song is going through.

But can't agree about My Life Has Been Saved, 1st version was a good song, best of such called "fillers", if you please. Definitely better then Dear Friends.

I love Drowse, unusual mellow vibe from Roger - the slide guitar is uncomplicated, but I like it.

Me as an old geezer, I'd like to say up till The Game for me there were no filler, or bad songs, the albums were daring and most of the from A to Z jawdropping. Than they transformed into a pop/single band, I don't like:
Hot Space is my guilty pleasure, Break Free, really boring, every version. Friends will be friends. Pain is close to pleasure. My life has been saved. My baby does me. Rain must fall. The Invisible man.
