The Dvd was originally pressed for a dvd player manufacturer, to bundle with a player. Poss Panasonic? Anyway, they didn't sell many of that model (or they pressed a lot more than they expected to need), so the remainder were retained by QPL and, much later, sold off via the fan club. I suspect that the "real" GVH DVDS came out in between the pressing of these and the sell off, so these have more original content, but with no remastering (I think they're just transfers of the VHS master, aren't they?) and no surround mixes.
Not sure what the history on the video cd is.

The first one was a give away with early Pioneer DVD players I believe (I have a couple of copies).
I think it’s still the only official release of some of those video clips in original, uncropped, 4:3 format?

When I play the DVD I usually turn off the screen so I can just listen to the music!

I'm currently using the Greatest Flix DVDs as a source for my restoration project. There's some examples in the video download section.
