Helloo! When I was listening to Queens 24/10/1982 concert, and when I came across Put Out The Fire, I was impressed! Freddie hit really really high notes in the chorus which he didn’t even need to sing. Does anyone else have some outstanding individual live performances? Like a great solo or amazingly sung part? Let me know!

BrƎИsꓘi I was already getting confused by both the fact Queen would give a concert in Urk, and in 1983. So it was a joke?

BrƎИsꓘi I was already getting confused by both the fact Queen would give a concert in Urk, and in 1983. So it was a joke? it's a long standing joke in Queen fan circles - goes back to QZone - i know it gets mentioned in a couple of these: www.queenzone.com/forums/1169758/man-in-the-shadows.aspxwww.queenzone.com/forums/1077027/infamous-queenzone-hoaxes.aspx?page=1www.queenzone.com/forums/1286175/we-need-more-trolls-here.aspxwww.queenzone.com/forums/1374770/concerts-we-wish-we-had.aspxwww.queenzone.com/forum/958597/rare-bootlegs.aspx?page=2various Queenzone regulars were responsible for different hoaxes down the years: The "easter egg" thread inspired me to open this topic and to list some of the legendary Queenzone hoaxes which were born on this forum. 1. The Hotspace BBC sessions [Penetration_Guru] were invented by Penetration_Guru. In a thread about the BBC sessions he mentioned them quite casually and literally everybody fell for it, mainly because it was the first real hoax. It took weeks until the collectors - rather unhappily - had to realise that the Hot Space BBC sessions only exist on the QZ forum 2. The Man In The Shadow album [Niek] is the world famous John Deacon solo album. It was created by Queenzoner pma and confused generations of newbies. You are a hard core Queenzoner when you accept the existence of the Man In The Shadow album. Queenzoner Banquo took the hoax to the real life when he hung up an advert for the album on the English Fan Club convention www.queenzone.com/queenzone/mp3.aspx?Q=5736Once a newbie, who had fallen for the hoax, asked for a track list after he/she realised the hoax. The Queenzoners obliged and invented a beautiful track list 3. The "River Of Blood Speech" [bohardy] is Freddie's famous speech on the Wembley 86 DVD. It was invented by Queenzoner Bohardy. Only hard core Queenzoners with a vivid imagination find this precious gem hidden on the DVD. 4. The "Live At The Bowl Easter Egg" [brenski] www.queenzone.com/forums/426749/on-fire-easter-egg.aspxwas originally rather a joke by Queenzoner Brenski than a hoax but it grew to one of the most successful QZ hoaxes because it found its way to many other forums and Easter Egg websites. The hoax says that you have to press a certain key combination and the DVD will skip all Hot Space tracks. Funnily, many people seem to believe that excluding the Hot Space tracks is a real service for the owner of the DVD. 5. The "Ready Steady Cook" hoax was invented by Queenzoner Dudley_Fufkin and is the most successful hoax in the QZ hoax history. In July 2002 the following news item escaped the otherwise flawless QZ control (cough)and was posted on the news page: "A friend of mine who is a PA for bbc tv's Ready Steady Cook has mentioned to me that Brian May will be appearing on the bbc cookery show on the 9th July." Submitted by: Dirty Den The "Ready Steady Cook" show is (was?) a morning show on British TV and features has-beens who have no life and no career. While the Queenzoners hardly responded to this news item, the idea that Brian would appear on this show caused a riot on the QOL forums and led to numerous enquiries to the Fan Club and QOL. The Fan Club denied and finally Queen issued a press statement denying Brian's appearance on the show - something that Dudley had known from the start It was the only time that a QZ hoax led to an official reaction. Some great other myths that originated on QZ: - The track 'Brothers in Pain' - A Queen concert in Urk, the Netherlands in 1983 - A song from The Miracle Sessions called 'Two Worlds Apart' which started during the Barcelona sessions. [Niek & Pim] - Brian's Curse

Man in the shadows is real though, the "Hoax" is that it was fake.

Breaking out into the rest of the Internet definitely elevates it.
I only meant that it was unusually well judged by my standards - usually a bull in a China shop.
