On the Queen Convention page on facebook they just uploaded a virtual convention this year, that is just a video of around 4 hours...during all that you cand see some video archive footage, and one of the videos is really worth to take a view. I could imagine that is a new version of the original videoclip of IWIA that it will appear on Miracle boxset, that it contains new footage from the front camera that shouts only to Fred. Quite interesting

I love this kind of thing, Seeing one take with a one (In this case two) camera set up kind of gives it a live vibe. You can really get a feel of what Brian wanted with the "I'm a man with a one track mind" section.
That bit where the camera turns to Brian really captures a tiny bit of how this would have looked live.

Couldn't control the smile spreading across my face while watching this - the original is my favourite Queen video, hands down, and it was nice to see some long, unedited takes! Thank you for pointing this out!

It seems to me he was trying too hard to appear well and vigorous. That might be why this take wasn't used.

Could also have been another reason why this take was not used, but still a nice find.

Re-editing seems unlikely given that it's mostly one shot anyway... By any chance, do your YouTube uploads have ads attached to the front of them? |

My guess is that this is a full take on which they can base the final video and take cuts from it or whatever. Freddie looks tired, only three years after the magic videos. I hadn't noticed the shirt padding before, do you think that's what it is? Or do you think it's just a large shirt made from thick material that's evidently too large for him and has been gathered up at the back? Whatever. It was the 80s, and honestly this was typical for the period.
