I have to confess, for myself, not very often. In fact, I think the last time I sat and listened to a complete Queen album from start to finish was when ANATO came out on DVD-A.
That's not to say I don't listen to Queen very often. I have two 80 track compilations on my phone which get regular plays through. I just don't listen to whole albums much, so there are tracks I probably haven't heard for at least 30 years.
Just curious to know if there are others that don't regularly listen to complete albums?

I haven't listened to any Queen album completely . I usually just listen to random songs that seem interesting (the most recent song I've listened to that is new to me is 'Rock It'). I'm not that familiar with much of their earlier songs (like Queen I/II), or their later songs.

If I listen to the first half of my Q2 CD on my way to work, and the second half on the way home, does that count?
I am to old as I still like CDs, and am too lazy to take the time to put music on my computer, convert to mp3 and then to my phone.

I only listen to Queen albums when I can take a seat for it and read a book about it. It’s often in weekends when I have the time for it, and it’s best for me if I don’t listen to Queen albums only. I listen to EDM, country and “Adammusic”. I need to take breaks when listening to music. I can’t listen to hardrock for one hour straight, only 10 minutes and I’ll have already had enough adrenaline. My musical streams do differ, but my CD’s are all Queen! So the only music I take a seat for is Queen, and I sometimes take a dive in the megalomane Paul McCartney collection of my dad. Paul is truly the greatest solo artist, but I have to bear in mind that he’s in the job for already 50 years. Fred, Bri and Rog had a fulltime Queen job and barely had the time to record something like Innuendo. Still, Queen had three great solo artists!

Did you never do mix tapes of all your favourite songs? Well, this is the same but you're not limited to 90 minutes. 🙂

I haven't listened to a complete one because I get a bit bored after the first couple songs, and change it to something else.

I haven't listened to a complete one because I get a bit bored after the first couple songs, and change it to something else. I understand you. It may get a bit boring, but then I focus on some things I like about a song and get on with the album. No pun intended, just telling how I listen to the albums. Each person has the right to do it differently.

Er...did you edit out the pun?
A while back I combined side 2 of Q2 into one file, wondering if I should consider it a "suite" when it crops up in the random playlist. Listened to it all the way through once, then decided I was being needlessly pretentious - the reason I like random playlists is not knowing what's coming next.
The last album I listened to all the way through was probably one of the live ones - Odeon most likely. Studio album - MBADTK.
I would never rule it out though (well, I'd rule out the 80s albums), as they're all to hand as is a turntable and a CD player.

Others from 70s have 1-2 tracks each that i skip

Yes, but mostly albums from the '80s, although I like the first 5 albums and Innuendo much better - I find that strange.
I guess the not-so-heavy mood is suiting me these days.

I'm blessed (or cursed) to have a 45 minute commute one way to work that just about fits perfectly for listening to albums. I can easily bust out two albums 5 days a week. And honestly, I prefer listening to the albums in their entirety. That's not to say I haven't put songs on shuffle or purposely sought out a particular track though.

I usually rearrange the songs into a more preferential (for me) order, almost like an alternate history, and that shakes it up pretty well for me to be able to listen to the albums with fresh ears. There might have been a time or two recently where I maybe listened to an album in full, but I can’t remember what it when it was.

I have a playlist of the complete Queen songs and just put them on shuffle. Chaotic I know.

I must be the odd one out...I only listen to full albums. I listen at least several times a week to Queen albums. I feel like I’m cheating somehow if I pick and choose individual songs, plus I pretty much love all the songs.

I got a new car a couple months ago and the player only supports CDs, so I've been going old school with all the studio albums in order from oldest to newest + all 3 Greatest Hits to and from work everyday. I'm on my 2nd go around with the albums now and haven't gotten sick of it yet!
Glad I shelled out the money a while back to grab all the original 80s flat-transfer EMI and Elektra pressings over the remasters on Spotify. Otherwise my trips would be very quiet while I save up for a new head unit.
My absolute favourites to listen to from start to finish are NOTW and The Game.
Hot Space, Works & AKOM are the toughest listens for me but even then, they're still great! Only one I know I'm not playing from start to finish again is GH III...

I usually listen to my Queen collection on vinyl, so yes I will play whole albums in a single sitting.
When I'm in my office space or driving, I'm usually playing playlists I've created or just playing random stuff on Apple Music. Here are some playlists I have, for example:
Queen 12" Singles The Best of Roger Taylor Queen Deep Cuts (different from the official albums) Queen Favs (all my fav songs)

Each and every album I listen to is a whole album + singles/b-sides/outtakes from the sessions (as part of Expanded Collection of course)

I listen to full albums in the car... but only when I'm alone. Because listening means listening to and singing along with - which, according to my wife, does not necessarily imply an improvement.

I’ve just bought a bootleg Queen in Sun City which I play in my car very loud . I picked it up in HMV .
Other than that I like a mix of music on my playlist but I do prefer live Queen to studio albums .
For some reason the current crisis hasn’t had me in much of a mood for music sadly

Complete Queen albums, not so much, although do have the Bo Rhap soundtrack in the car CD, but now started to skip. Bands I'm just getting into or have recently discovered, then quite a lot though. Very much into bands that have been around a while, The Wildhearts and Massive Wagons, but still discovering new stuff by them so need to listen to the organic flow of the albums. Similar with Muse, I find it difficult to cut and paste their tracks as the albums flow very well.
Saying that, I could never not listen to Queen II black side and skip a song. It would be sacrilege and if anyone has then they should be flogged. White side? Never been a big fan of Loser in the End.

I listen to complete albums when: -exercising -doing work around the house -when I get tired of listening to the same songs from Live performances or greatest hits compilations

I take a notion every now and then to listen to all of the studio LPs in order. I love doing this with the original pressings, but also occasionally dig out the "Complete Studio Collection" coloured vinyl box. There is such a thing as overload (not boredom) so I maybe do this 1-2 LPs a day for a number of days until I'm done. I don't muddy the waters with compilations, live or solo stuff in between, and I don't skip tracks.
More frequently, I just pick out an album I fancy (usually because of an earworm) and listen to it. This might involve putting the earworm on first, and skipping of tracks I don't like so much. I also like to dig out the compilation and live albums, probably more than I take the notion for doing the albums in order thing.
However, I mostly just listen to comps I've made when heading out somewhere.
That makes it sound like I listen to Queen a lot. I do, and I don't.....they are always "there", but there's tonnes of artists I like and listen to in between "Queen sittings".
This has been a quite interesting thread, but one post in particular has taken me aback somewhat. If Queen becomes "boring" after 10 minutes of an album, are you sure you like Queen?

When I started discovering Queen, I always listened to the whole albums, but I don’t anymore. Not because I grew tired of it, but because I rarely have the time. Now I only listen to the songs that fit my current mood. The only exception is Queen II, because I agree with toon86 that it’s a sacrilege not to listen to the thing as a whole (including TLITE 😛).
