Interesting..... these seem to be automated uploads to YouTube by some other service, but they are uploaded on the official Queen channel.
Maybe someone uploaded it to Google Play or Spotify or something under Queen's name, and this service automatically uploaded them to the Queen Official channel?

This has happened rather a lot recently with a number of artists, notably Bowie. What used to be called protection gap bootlegs of the type you find in HMV etc finding their way onto official channels. Part of me thinks they're happy to host them and pick up the royalties if the material is doing the rounds anyway.

Would they get royalties from these? To be fair, on a phone, the sound isn't too bad, but I'm not sure how it would hold up with a proper pair of speakers. There's loads of these types of live CDs on Amazon. Not sure who reaps the profits from them.

I think these are the same ones you would also find if you scroll through Queen's profile on Youtube Music? They have a few but idk if they were accurately identified or anything, I haven't listened to all of them. music.youtube.com/browse/UCEPMVbUzImPl4p8k4LkGevA

They labeled as Brazil 1981 the performances of Under Pressure and CLTCL from SNL 1982...

I mean if Queen is still hosting this and getting royalties from it does that make it pseudo-official like I mean they obviously recognize it exists as they would have taken it off there page if they didn't want to. Also is it possible that Queen let someone else publish it quietly and just didn't promote it idk.

I brought this up on Queenzone. It just recognizes that it’s Queen. Nothing more. And if you go on the google play store they have other bootlegs also

Yeah that's why there's so many around and generally from good sounding sources (well, increasingly youtube) with vague sources given. They will usually collect the publishing royalties or at least have them ready to be collected if ever asked similar to the Protection Gap CDs decades ago. Here's a little explanation on an ABBA site: abbaoncd.wordpress.com/japanese-cds/protection-gap-bootlegs/

The most interesting in QYT channel is that on official lyrics or video songs, some are new mixes (2011) Radio GA GA, Good old fashioned lover boy to name few. m.youtube.com/watch?v=N2qk6VZokx0

Since it is on YT there is compression and not high quality sound, however I think on Radio GA GA which the 2011 mix is stated on the info not on the title like GOFLB, the drum sound, bass and synths sound less dense than the original, same for GOFLB.
