I agree with the above poster about Queen II :-). Didn`t think it would be doing that well, must be more early fans on here but havn`t admitted it yet.

Nice to see an album poll not dominated by ANATO.
Now if we could finally see a SONG poll not dominated by...

Great to see that Queen II now has a fairly good lead and SHA has edged into 2nd place! Ted QII has run away with it!

Plus I don't consider either Queen nor QII to have any real filler tracks; to me Races has one when you compare it to the quality of the other 9 songs on the album: STL. (Yes, you read that right)
Ted
Finally someone that feels the same as I do about Somebody to Love! I find it repetitious and just not especially interesting. It has some things that are musically nice, but it’s a song I typically skip....in fact I don’t skip any other Queen song when listening to albums, except for this one. I have never said this out loud because fans will gasp and clutch their pearls. Nice to know I really am not the only one. Queen II will always be at the top of my list.

Eggy and I did a poll in the early 2000s (before 46664) where 30 QZers rated 188 Queen songs from 0 to 10 with the caveat that no more than 20 songs could be put in a numerical "rating bucket".
Bo Rhap easily "won" with an average rating of 9.5 ... although one person gave it a "2" rating.
The balance of the Top 20 were ...
#2 Somebody to Love (sorry Ted) #3 The March of the Black Queen #4 The Show Must Go on (sorry for me SaintJiub) #5 Love of My Life #6 These Are the Days of Our Lives #7 Killer Queen #8 Liar #9 Who Wants to Live Forever #10 Spread Your Wings #11 Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy #12 One Vision #13 Princes of the Universe #14 We Are the Champions #15 The Prophets Song #16 We Will Rock You #17 Under Pressure #18 Death on Two Legs #19 It's Late #20 I Want It All
... and to tie this poll in with this "favorite album" topic, the top 10 albums were (based solely on average song rankings) ...
#1 A Day at the Races #2 A Night at the Opera #3 The Game #4 Innuendo #5 Sheer Heart Attack #6 The Works #7 A Kind of Magic #8 Made in Heaven #9 News of the World #10 Queen II (Doh?)

I was expecting the winner that was ANATO, for very overrated but, I see that the band is well appreciated in this forum!

I think Queen II is a great album but in terms of individual songs, there are far better ones elsewhere. I think that poll sort of illustrates the point!

There currently appears to be a glitch when you try to quote someone else's comment and add your own comment to the post; in the post by Jakelic right above this post, neither of the quotes were made by myself nor the other person who's been quoted.
There doesn't appear to be a place in this Forum where you can report glitches, therefore I'll leave this comment here and I trust one of the moderators will see it and investigate.

I noticed something was off, tried to fix the quoting, but it always came out the same way. I thought it was a mobile issue as I’m not currently on a desktop PC.

Ted I've fixed the above. I think somehow two quotes got muddled into one.

if you're multi-quoting you'll need to select each post and then click quote on the last one.
if you're just quoting a quote, it's much simpler - just click the quote button. Be careful where you place your cursor when you type - the forum allows you to edit anything - including the post you are quoting - so an inadvertent cursor placement can change the whole layout of your reply. it's worth clicking the Preview Button (bottom left of your reply window) to have a look at what your reply will look like.
Finally, if a quote somehow ends up looking wrong, you can fix it easily: all you need to do is select EDIT and find the final instance of [ /quote] in your post. cut and paste it placing it immediately before your own reply.

I'm not surprised about Queen II being ahead, but I would have expected ANATO to be a close second and ADATR right behind.
If this poll allowed up to two or three choices, it would paint a more accurate picture IMO.

It's worth noting that the Preview button isn't available on the mobile interface. Just to add on this: I am not sure about other browsers, but Chrome mobile allows a desktop view with full functionality even though it's generally inconvenient.

There's a button at the bottom of the mobile view pages to switch to Desktop, so that shouldn't be browser dependent.

I'm gonna go a bit controversial and say JAZZ. Much like anyone else's votes here, I think my favourite Queen album changes on a semi-daily basis, and today, it just happened to be Jazz. The reason for this could be anything, really, but there are some really great songs here that defy the laws of all post-Jazz albums, and I've always found myself liking Jazz despite its production. I briefly considered choosing Made In Heaven, and my usual choice would have been Queen II, but at the moment, I just can't be bothered with it for some reason. Maybe I'll go with Flash Gordon tomorrow.

My favorite Queen album has changed so many times. Usually I would say Queen2 or Queen In the early days. I still love those albums, but I consider Sheer Heart Attack as possibly their best Rock record. A Day At The Races has aged really well. I'll go with A Night At The Opera at #1. Side 2 of Opera is unbeatable. SHA is a very close 2nd. Then It's Queen2, Races, Queen, NOTW.

My favourite album (at the moment) is definitely "The Game"! Eventhough it is the shortest one (35 Minutes), I just love every second of it. I mean "Play The Game" is just beautiful; "Dragon Attack" sounds very aggressive; "Dust" is very funky but not as much as "Hot Space"; "Need Your Loving Tonight" sounds a bit like "If You Can't Beat Them", which means I love it; "CLTCL" is a masterpiece; "Rock It" is f*cking awesome; "Don't Try Suicide" is very interesting; "Sail Away Sweet Sister" is so so beautiful (I love Brian's and Freddie's vocals on that); "Coming Soon" is just more Roger and last but not least "Save Me", which is wonderful! I also like how they implemented Synthesisers, but the didn't 'overuse' them like later. So yeah, I love "The Game"!

ANATO is not just my favorite Queen album, but also my favorite album of all time overall. As I said in the "A Night at the Opera Appreciation" thread, to me that album is meticulously crafted to sheer perfection and I love it!

My top 5 are:
1 - Queen II 2 - Made In Heaven 3 - Innuendo 4 - The Game 5 - A Day At The Races.
I actually can't make my mind up on the actual order of MIH and Innuendo, but MIH has some real special memories for me.
