Made this post an qol, and here I go
been listening to Brian's solo output a lot lately, and thought back to the 1998 tour, which I was obsessed with at the time. I had every audio recording there was, and apart from a few select videos that back then only circulated among only a handful of fans (Milan was one I seem to remember...), I had the video recordings covered too.
Was thinking about pro shots from this tour, and what MAY be lurking somehwere....from what I remember this is what I know exists SOMEWHERE
* Albert Hall - shot by Doro. BRian says it was shot in 3D, according to the recent RC mag....
* St. Petersburg - a pro shot edit featuring songs from the entire gig, so it's not unlikely the whole gig was filmed.
* Offenbach - the first few songs, not unusual for tv coverage for instance. But who knows? (not rethorical! )
* Moscow?! The audience shot bootleg clearly shows a big screen on each side of the stage. So video was being fed live...question is, was it also recorded?

browsing through the Another World tour posts, it seems many plans were made and altered. Dunno what their sources were at the time, but some interesting posts there:
9.10.98: Brian in Vienna to be filmed
The Vienna show tomorrow night (10th October), is being filmed and recorded for a video and album release.
It can only be a coincidence that Vienna is the home town, and base, of a certain film production company, and that the show is in one of the smaller venues of the tour and is completely sold out...
10.10.98: Brian live album and video
It's now been confirmed that not only the Vienna show, but also the Linz and Grenoble shows, are being filmed for a live video and album release. All three shows are sold out, and are in relatively small venues. There is no further information on this at present, but as soon as we hear any more, we'll post it here.
11.10.98: Filming update
It's been decided to film the Offenbach show only. Trip Khalef: "We decided not to film in Vienna, Linz or Grenoble after all, as the venues are really too small"
20.10.98 Brian tour live video/album
As well as the Offenbach sow, the London Albert Hall show will *also* be filmed.
So...it doesn't say anything about Offenback NOT being filmed, and as mentioned in my initial post, there is pro shot footage of the first few songs. Were these Do-Ro sourced, or some tv station?!?!
anyone in the know?!
