BrƎИsꓘi Steve onedunpark NathanH Lplix Plengel pg Egietje littlequeenie97 n39 kosimodo katydyd5 The above have been tagged from previous games, but anyone can join in. With this quiz your challenge is to identify each of the mystery musicians below, from the given clues. The clues may be cryptic, and may relate to the person's name, their background, something they have done, someone they are connected to, etc. The mystery person could be dead or alive, male or female, but they do all have something loosely in common. You will receive two points for correctly identifying each musician, plus one bonus point for each clue that you correctly decipher, making a total of 50 points available. Please provide your answers in the following format: Person 1: Person's Name or ?Clue 1: Answer or ?Clue 2: Answer or ?Clue 3: Answer or ? As with all of our quizzes, Googling is not allowed. Please PM me your answers - do not post answers in this thread! You have until 10pm UK time on Tuesday evening (May 18th) to submit your answers, then all will be revealed. This time, I will post the solutions in this thread, with explanations of the clues, so any answers submitted after the deadline will not count, and your evening may be ruined. 😁 So, here goes... Person 1: Clue 1. A connection to the number 80 Clue 2. A connection to astronomy Clue 3. A connection to Spain Person 2: Clue 1. Powered off in 1997 Clue 2. A connection to a fire Clue 3. A joyful individual? Person 3: Clue 1. A connection to horticulture Clue 2. A connection to children's TV Clue 3. Returned to a vicinity with mates Person 4: Clue 1. A connection to combat Clue 2. A knowledge of morse code? Clue 3. A connection to 10CC Person 5: Clue 1. Born with a different name Clue 2. A connection to arachnids Clue 3. Celebrated a break from education Person 6: Clue 1. A connection to aviation Clue 2. Had a famous tenant Clue 3. A connection to George Orwell Person 7: Clue 1. A celebrity with a dual nationality Clue 2. A connection to India Clue 3. Connected to make noise? Person 8: Clue 1. A connection to geology Clue 2. A Sussex connection Clue 3. A coconut lover? Person 9: Clue 1. A religious family background Clue 2. A significant inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Clue 3. Dueted with a famous UK singer Person 10: Clue 1. Played a part in a final dance? Clue 2. A connection to transport Clue 3. BrƎИsꓘi Steve onedunpark NathanH Lplix Plengel pg Egietje littlequeenie97 n39 kosimodo katydyd5As there haven't been any answers submitted yet, I think it would be fair to amend the rules, which may help a little. So, by PM, you may now ask up to three questions regarding any of the mystery musicians, which I will answer only Yes or No. So, for example, you may wish to ask: Is #1 still alive? Is #6 male? Is #8 a singer? I may decline to answer direct giveaway questions, such as, "Is xxx the guitarist with xxx", so questions need to not be that specific, but hopefully this may help you along your way. Given the change in the rules, I think it will also be fair to extend the deadline for the quiz by 24 hours, so the new deadline is now 10pm (UK time) on Wednesday 19th May. I will try to answer your questions as quickly as possible, but obviously any that come in overnight may not be answered until the following morning.

I'd say 6/10 are definitely rock oriented, one or two perhaps more pop, and a couple from other genres. But they are all very well known artists.

I'll give another general clue - all of them are, or would have been, over 70 years old now.

This is clearly proving harder than I'd thought, but one person has got over 50% correct (person(s) + clues), so it is doable.
Don't forget, you now have until tomorrow night, and you can ask yes or no questions via PM. 🙂
