Hi,
I'm considering travelling to London from Europe on the 22th to attend Roger's concert. Maybe it's something off topic, but for entering the venue, is it enough to show the EU certificate of COVID vaccination, or a lateral flow test is also needed?
Any experiences in Newcastle and Manchester for international travellers?
Thanks!

I would suggest to contact the venue directly just in case.

I hope someone who has attended Roger’s concerts can answer my question? Prior to the tour Jason Falloon was supposed to be on this tour. However, it’s very clear from pictures that it’s not Jason on tour with RT. Sound and setup is also different, does anyone know the guys name?

Hi,
Do you think that Roger will invite some guests during the tour to play with him?
Who? Maybe Rufus? Taylor Hawkins? Can we dream with Brian joining Roger for a couple of songs in the last show in London? That would be really awesome…

This is entirely speculation, but doesn't Jason Falloon live in Holland? Maybe he didn't fancy the quarantine, and therefore this other fella was plucked from Enrique Iglesias's backing band to even more obscurity.

Looking at setlist.fm really shows how inconveniently sequenced the tour is.
I know it's a question of when the venues can be booked, but is that really the best his booking agent could do?

Genesis' itinerary through North America isn't too much better. And they couldn't even get mid-west or west coast dates - but they got the bustling metropolis of Raleigh NC ?

from around QPR to now, is the longest coda in any band's history. Brian and Roger really do want to keep performing - whether as QPR, QAL, Roger solo or (optimistically some time very soon) Brian solo once more? however, make no mistake; these could be (amongst) our very last chances to see our heroes live. the amount of touring they have "left-in-the-tank" is finite (i'd suggest they're now running on fumes). our heroes could (for all intents and purposes), be John Wayne filming The Shootist (check the reference guys - a literal last chance saloon). At some point their performances will hit a dead stop. it's more likely than not to be very, very soon.
yeah, sure, I was lucky enough to see Queen 5x in their heyday, Bowie, Elton, Purple, Rainbow, AC/DC and many others between 80-87, but that isn't the really the point, is it? this is about seizing these last scraps of opportunity if/when they arise. because, friends; when it's over, it really is OVER.
that's why when Blackmore, Jeff Lynne and Eagles all toured recently I went. Blackmore twice. I don't care that these are the swansong bookends to their performing lives - i wouldn't miss them for the world. and that's why I'm going to see Roger.
the only remnants of my live bucket list would be if Macca/Ringo and Page/Plant/Jones toured together one last time.
people, if you have a ticket for this tour - whether you've seen Roger before (or not) it's really time to weigh it all up. I understand that (if all Covid-things being equal) you can't bring yourself to attend, that's fine - and perfectly understandable.
But one final word: How many of you didn't see Queen in the classic lineup? How many saw the reviews of the Magic Tour and genuinely thought "nevermind, I'll catch them next time around"? sometimes, there really isn't a next time. please don't "cancel in haste, repent at leisure."

Yep, that's me. 😔 I'm not attending concerts at the moment, and I've even passed on my Genesis tickets another member of the family. I know I will regret it, but the stress and worry of Covid was really getting to me, not so much for myself but had I become ill it would have had much wider implications. I've known of one of two people who have been to quite a few concerts recently, and one person is now recovering from Covid, and has had to pass up other shows he was booked to go to. Enjoy your gigs, but take care people, this thing is still out there and and no venue is totally Covid secure.

In fact, I had tickets for two gigs and in the end I will only attend one, and I will go because this could be Roger’s last solo tour, as Brenski said. For what I could see in the videos in YouTube, almost no one wears a face covering inside the venues. I don’t live in the UK, but it seems a little bit surprising. For those who attended the concerts until now, how many people were wearing face coverings inside the venues?

Hi inuliger, Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you enjoy the concert? Sorry for the late reply. Oh boy, did I ever! Great set list, great band, AND I finally achieved a lifelong dream of meeting him and getting an autograph directly (see: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbcsMqti1_8 ) Also, there will be a GREAT sounding bootleg of this show coming as soon as I’m back in Canada at the very end of the month. No hyperbole here, I think this show is one of my top 10 audio recordings I’ve ever made. Oh, and managed to film the whole thing too

He's running a studio and a business from there doing remote session guitar recordings.

Enjoyed the Plymouth show, although not the venue.
Ran in to some people I haven't seen for many years which was, for all my grumpy demeanour, fucking lovely.

Great gig in Nottingham. Tight band, great crowd, looked to be sold out, or at least full. Roger's vocals were really good as were the rest of the band.
Also it was really good to meet some members of the forum and three other new friends!

Hope you guys enjoyed your meet up yesterday. I actually did end up going in the end but I was dithering until 6:30 and left Sheffield at 6:45. My tickets didn't sell so my wife pretty much forced me to go without her. Got in 5 mins before the gig started and had to leave a couple of songs before the end. Thankfully I knew the setlist so wasn't too gutted but I was sad to have missed Spike.

Also it was really good to meet some members of the forum and three other new friends! yep, fantastic night. and yes, it was full. when i ventured downstairs to try get more pics, it was rammed all the way back to the exits. while it goes without saying how good Tyler Warren and Neil Fairclough were, we already knew this. Although Tyler shone out on one particular song - (no spoilers), and guitarist Christian Mendoza was great; my shout out goes to keyboardist/violinist/backing singer Tina Keys [Hizon] - what a talent! she also plays guitar on the Radio 2 session stuff. It was nice to see Spike, but he didn't look too well. below is my medley of last night's gig @ Rock City, Nottingham. Please ignore if you're goign to a later gig and wish to avoid setlist spoilers.

Best Queen related thing to happen in years this is. Brand new material, great, relatively intimate (and affordable) live shows.. I've enjoyed the Q+AL gigs but this album/ tour just feels so fresh and enjoyable.
