Great review Bob! Made me feel like I was there. . . Oh wait a minute, I was 🙂.
So many good memories of a great evening. Mr Taylor and his band were amazing.

Unplanned Foreign Sand Audience "Hello"So, from what I can find, the unintentional call+response began in Nottingham, and it's already evolved slightly: Newcastle - Oct 2nd - audience are singing along with the verse, no unintentional call+response Manchester - Oct 3rd - audience are singing along with the verse, no unintentional call+response Liverpool - October 8th - audience are singing along with the verse, no unintentional call+response Bath - Oct 11th - audience, respectful silence: Bournemouth - Oct 12th - "something" very muted happened, but no impact on Roger Plymouth - Oct 14th - from pg audio recording: audience in complete respectful silence Nottingham - Oct 15th - from what i can find, it's the first full-on humorous response, with Roger semi-corpsing: Guildford - Oct 19th - from Nick audio recording: audience fully engaged, Roger is "owned" to the point of losing a couple of lines of the song Coventry - Oct 20th - the audience reduce Roger to a full-corpse, the lines that follow are buried, muffled and fluffed - well done Coventry! i can't find any recordings of this song from 5th [York], 6th [Cardiff], 9th [Norwich], or 17th [Bexhill].

Hey guys, I'm heading to Shepherd's Bush tonight! I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but what sort of time does Roger come on stage? Cheers! (Also, happy to meet up with anyone who's going and fancies it).

Followed by a terrific version of a kind of magic. I’ve had an amazing evening. A great show. Never thought I would see Roger solo live - a really fun evening.

Did Brian join them on stage? He absolutely did - Rog introduced him as his brother from another mother.

I think I saw two keyboardists for aKoM. Who played piano? I have always preferred the live version of aKoM with piano, and this version fealt particularly energetic to me.

For those who haven’t seen it elsewhere, here’s a DL link to Brian’s guest appearance tonight.
LINEAGE
Church Audio CA-14 cards (with Church Audio 9200 preamp) > Tascam DR-2d (Line in, Level 80/100) > Audacity (add fades at start/end, split tracks, convert to FLAC)
TAPING NOTES
Recorded from the rear of the stalls - it's a great recording of how things sounded in the room. Not one for those who don't like crowd noise!
SETLIST
I'll upload the full show in due course. For now it's just the two tracks that feature BHM, played to end the main set. The roar when Brian appeared was phenomenal - he was having a blast during AKOM, as evident in his outro solo.
01 Tutti Frutti
02 A Kind Of Magic

In the videos, Brian looked sprightly and well. Was this his first on-stage performance since his run of health issues?

do you think he will join for a queen song in the set list, or will they add another queen song? If they play The show must go on or I was born to love you would be amazing! Brian would perform near the end so maybe they'd perform a Queen song with lots of guitar? Maybe like Hammer To Fall which Roger has sang before at Q+PR gigs...But actually Brian may just play on Heroes seeing that he has already played guitar live on it before at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. ...it'll need proper rehearsal - the 2021 arrangement is very different to that of the FM tribute, and anyhow, wasn't Ronson playing lead then? my best bet: if Brian does turn up, it'll either be a standard rock tune or a well-rehearsed song that Roger co-wrote. Tutti Frutti + A Kind of Magic...I'm not taking any serious credit for this easiest of calls!

Forgot to mention that last night show the audience's Hello thing went on again, very loudly multiple times to the point that Roger had to say, "It's meant to be serious!" and also shushing them, haha.

A very solid band... I think the mixture of young and old people fits perfectly well.

A very solid band... I think the mixture of young and old people fits perfectly well. Agreed - as much as I love Jason’s guitar work on previous tours, this band were fantastic. I could have done without Spike’s mic decoder thing that he uses for AKOM and Ga Ga (any chance somebody can snap it before the Q+AL shows next year?) but they all looked like they were having so much fun. Tina Keys was great fun to watch - always had the blissful air of “this is what I do for work!” conveyed on her face. Christian on guitar is a good player - was true to Brian’s original parts but didn’t try to be him. Some of his playing reminded me of Tom Morello. As for the guest appearance last night, it was one of my favourite things I’ve seen live ever. Even though we all knew it was coming, seeing BHM having so much fun was joyous. That man can still play… I wouldn’t be surprised if last night persuaded him to do a solo tour. The bar is set pretty high, mind…

Hi,
Went to the concert yesterday and had so much fun! Roger was very funny with that “hello” thing and when Brian join them the crowd went crazy!
A concert that I will never forget!
Let’s see if Roger decides to make some concerts across Europe, or if Brian decides to make a solo tour too!!
