www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGCy2Gf4OM7n5heuZGHb3lG9Y7kgH7w3yThis playlist was posted this past March on YouTube but I'm just now finding it. I will admit I was very optimistic and I clicked the videos thinking it may be a recording from The Paddocks gig. Okay, at the start of Procession there is an "MC" that introduced the group and then a fake audience sound effect in high quality before the rest of the bootleg has lower quality. Also, when "White Queen" and "Seven Seas of Rhye" was played I couldn't hear the Wurlitzer Freddie played at the real gig. This is a fake recording. I'm posting this to make sure that at least a part of the fandom is aware of this before it becomes widely spread. This may also need more investigation into figuring out what date the disguised recording is actually from or if they're using a mix of gigs. (I'm asking for more investigation because I didn't play the rest after the "MC" introduced them and I only listened to bits and pieces of "White Queen" and "SSOR")

I looked up his YouTube channel and also found "Vancouver 1980" and "Las Vegas 8-31-1975"! Queen didn't even play there that day (I don't know if they even ever played in Las Vegas)!
But at least he's funny; I really had to laugh when I saw it!

Why do trolls do this? It's mindboggling.

This most definitely isn't the case, but it would be pretty funny if one of the videos was ACTUALLY from the gig.

It's a mix of gigs, and here's the list of the concerts he used for each song : Procession / Father To Son: New York '74 Ogre Battle: Oxford '73 White Queen: Manchester '75 Doing All Right: Manchester '75 Son And Daughter: New York '74 Keep Yourself Alive: Glasgow '73 Seven Seas Of Rhye: 1st Tokyo '75 Liar: Okayama '75 Big Spender / Bama Lama Bama Loo: Bristol '73 Modern Times Rock 'N' Roll: Nagoya '75

Why do trolls do this? It's mindboggling. Because they want the "glory" of coming up with something new without actually doing any of the heavy lifting.

The person might be able to trade for a few rare items ... but then his reputation is trashed I wonder if the motivation is more insidious and designed to piss people off ... Either way ... I don't understand.

Why do trolls do this? It's mindboggling. Why do people still ask this as if it's 1996? People troll because they see it as funny. It's not some grand story about wanting glory or them having a bad childhood.

It's not some grand story about wanting glory or them having a bad childhood. Sure, but 99.9% of the time there are still underlying reasons why people go out of their way to troll in such a public way. They are obviously deriving pleasure from wasting people's time, which is at best insensitive and at worst sadistic.

I get why trolls do what they do, but if Cole is going to try and create a fake 3/22 recording, he could've at least tried to make it less obvious that he spliced several different concerts together. It's such a hack-job that I can't see many people falling for it.

Considering the things we've all seen people fall for, from flat earth to QAnon, I think it's fair to say that for any transparent, bogus hack-job, there are plenty of people who *will* fall for it, even if plenty of others won't.
