I have these they are part of a set I bought from Pete Still Photography in 1978. When I bought my copies they were copyrighted to Pete Still.

queenlizzyfan1973 reply#219This photo comes from July 1980, from one of the Inglewood shows (either the 9, 11, or 12). This is a better quality version.

I think the first photo comes from 1976. it's not, he never wore that outfit in 1976, he only wore it during the North America and Japan legs of SHA tour.

So Queen uploaded this photo on social media today John's hand is bandaged so it's one of the last shows of 1977 Tour, and going by Freddie's leotard the immediate thought was Long Beach 20th December. But earlier this year we established that during that show the tour case on the left side of the stage wasn't upside down as it appears here. So the question is, what is the date of this photo? Here are some shots from Long Beach 20th December where different position of the box can be seen:

Chopin1995 reply#228 all backstage shots are from Bristol show on Nov 18th 1975. where did you get the information about first 2 pics? they were labeled as 75/76 for years but didn't see them anywhere labeled as Sept 76 and Freddie's haircut is definitely from ANATO era (late 75/early 76)

We've seen photos from the last four nights and none of them are possible candidates. The box was flipped in Oakland and LA but Fred wore stripes on both of those nights. Unless Fred changed to the checkered outfit at some point during those shows (which I highly doubt), this can't come from the final nights of the tour.

I think you can definitely see the bandage in the new photo. Also, surely this is a Neil Zlozower shot so it has to be the one of the last 3 nights right?

It doesn't appear on his website.
