Frank sorry I think that's actually disrespectful to share these pics since they were taken without their permission

Frank sorry I think that's actually disrespectful to share these pics since they were taken without their permission Seemed harmless, but I understand. I was just happy to see Roger in a good mood. Deleted those. The pics can be found easily on Facebook fan groups anyway.

The pics have already been made public in the UK press: www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9939603/Bob-Geldof-69-Roger-Taylor-72-holiday-Dubrovnik-family.htmlTo be fair, I don't really see a serious invasion of privacy, and if you're Roger Taylor and Bob Geldof sharing a holiday, I don't think being photographed while out shopping would come as too much of a surprise.

I disagree. The fact that the Mail bought what are obviously pap pics in no way legitimises them.
They're not 'on duty' and are entitled to not have lenses in their faces while on holiday.

fabiogminero Reply #12 I need to explain the names, because you wrote them using wrong grammatical case. "Teatrze Polskim" (dative case) should be "Teatr Polski" (nominative case), and "Starym Rynku" (dative) should be "Stary Rynek" (nominative). Great photos anyway. The first time any member of Queen officially visited Poland.

Location: Bray Studios. Date: April 1992. Photographer: Unknown. Information would be appreciated. I just found it on a Queenzone archive without any context as usual. Also, I posted it in Other since I'm not sure if rehearsals fit the Live category.

Hi all! I wasn't sure where to put this thread. Maybe it belongs in photos/other 1991+ board, but i think photos there are of a different type, so admins, please move the thread to a propper place if needed, and sorry for the hassle. Anyway, I was looking for evening/morning MIH shots in high quality for a long time, I know some of you did too, for purposes of PC wallpapers or prints for home deco etc... but they seemed impossible to find, so I went and made these myself. Now, these are not originals, this is only my (somewhat sloppy) photoshopping of a scanned LP cover from the studio collection box set. I used a big imagerunner cannon scanner at 600dpi and some shenanigans were needed like image stitching, clonestamping, cleaning of scanner line anomalies, removing the text, logo and the huge cardboard middle crease. I'm aware it is not a perfect job and the more you look, you will find more imperfections. But, hey, far better than anything I had before, so I thought, why not share. I uploaded two jpg versions, big ones (hq) are over 14000 px wide (as scanned), small ones (lq) are exactly the same pics, but 3000px wide.
Please note that I didn't mess with the colors (didn't touch hue, saturation etc, no levels/curves, no sharpening etc, just left it as the scanner scanned it) and you will see a significant difference in saturation and tone compared to the pics we had from the CD, but this is the way they did it on the studio collection LPs.
True size detail:
hope you all like it. cheers!

This is amazing - thanks. Any chance you could put hi-res scans of the black/white Queen II images up as well? <3

So I was browsing an archived website (namely queen-fip), and I found two photos named award1.jpg and award2.jpg, that were first archived in 1998, but could have been uploaded earlier. I tried doing a reverse image search to find out where they came from, but I could only find one website, which seemed too sketchy to click, that seems to just have the same low-quality copy of one image. Does anyone know where the images came from and if there are any higher quality copies available? award1.jpg: award2.jpg: I found them while just looking through all archived pages, so I only saw the images themselves and not any associated text. I'll try to find the webpage where they appear to get more information, but I would also like to find higher quality copies of course.

I think the first one is the 1992 MTV awards. Second one is obviously post MIH, but don't recognise the guy on the left Edit - I'm talking crap, they're from the same day!
