First time seeing this shot of Roger, from a recent documentary - looks like Mountain Studios in Switzerland in 1981.
Is this a Queen session or for Fun In Space !?

Brian's Ovation is there, I think this is a Queen session.

Roger Taylor and producer David Richards with Colin Thom and Brian Smith of the group Sideways Look at Townhouse Studios in London in March 1985. Taylor and Richards produced five tracks for the Scottish band's second album in a session at Townhouse (including a cover of 'Bullet Proof Arm' by Fingerprintz, originally released in 1980); the song was supposed to be released as a single on April 9th, 1985 by Virgin Records, but due to creative differences between the band and the label, all the material recorded under Taylor and Richards' production remained unreleased. Sideway Look released their second album 'Taming The Blade' in 1988 with Blue Famingo Records; Roger and David were not involved in the production.

Brian's Ovation is there, I think this is a Queen session. Could still be Fun In Space, but recorded on Queen's booking when nobody else turned up.

To my knowledge, this looks more like Musicland's main studio room (before its re-design in the mid-1980s) than it does Mountain, having seen photos of The Rolling Stones among others record there. Mountain Studios' main studio looks similar but the walls have wider wooden planks (not thin strips like in this photo)... I noticed so in a few photos & videos of the studio - same case for the Queen Studio Experience studio setup re-creation exhibit there.

I'm very late but since it's been brought up... this was in Ratty's latest book too so it's his picture, and it's in the "Munich" chapter. The caption:
