some favorites:
Tokyo 05-01-1975 (I WANT THE FULL VIDEO!) Boston 01-30-1976 (fantastic performance) Earls Court 06-06-1977 (classic) Either Long Beach or LA Forum NOTW Tour 77 (let's say both) Hammersmith 12-26-1979 (probably Queen's best pro-shot performance) something from South America 81 Leiden 1st Night 1982 (best Audience ever!)
the two Fukuoka shows in 1982 (not because the performance was fantastic, which it wasn't, but it was my first Queen bootleg ever)
some German show 1986

Probably a bit excessive, but here my list goes (in no particular order):
Gothenburg 10/05/1977 Detroit 18/11/1977 Copenhagen 13/04/1978 London 13/05/1978 New York 17/11/1978 Newcastle 03/12/1979 Liverpool 06/12/1979 London 26/12/1979 San Diego 05/07/1980 Oakland 14/07/1980 Sao Paulo 20/03/1981 Cologne 06/05/1982 Vienna 13/05/1982 Leeds 29/05/1982 Edinburgh 01/06/1982 Edinburgh 02/06/1982 Milton Keynes 05/06/1982 Montreal 21/07/1982 Brussels 24/08/1984 Tokyo 09/05/1985 Stockholm 07/06/1986 Leiden 11/06/1986 Leiden 12/06/1986 Brussels 17/06/1986
I'd find it impossible to rank all these shows individually, but I can rank my top 5 tours (still not an easy decision to be honest):
1. Crazy Tour 2. US Game Tour (1st Leg) 3. NOTW Tour 4. European Hot Space Tour 5. Magic Tour

Here's my list (in chronological order):
London 13/9/73 London 31/3/74 Tokyo 1/5/75 Boston 30/1/76 London 6/6/77 Houston 11/12/77 Long Beach 20/12/77 Montreal 1/12/78 Munich 11/2/79 London 26/12/79 San Diego 5/7/80 Oakland 14/7/80 Rosemont 19/9/80 London 8/12/80 Montreal 24/11/81 Frankfurt 28/4/82 Vienna 12/5/82 Milton Keynes 5/6/82 Montreal 21/7/82 Hoffman Estates 13/8/82 Oakland 7/9/82 Tokorozawa 3/11/82 Sun City 19/8/84 Mannheim 21/6/86 Stevenage 9/8/86
As you can see, I'm (almost) only go for good sounding tapes, as they are more enjoyable and I listen to them more so they become my favourites... And please don't ask me why Tokorozawa is on here, I just kinda like it... I think it's also clear that 1980-1982 is my favourite Queen live period. The Crazy Tour is also up there, but Hammy is the only HQ tape from that tour, so that's my go-to from that tour!

- London [3/1/1974] - Tokyo [5/1/1975] - Boston [1/30/1976] - London [9/18/1976] - London [6/6 & 6/7/1977] - Houston [12/11/1977] - Dallas [10/28/1978] (my favorite for how completely different it is compared to the rest of the tour, and being close to home) - Lyon [2/17/1979] (it's because of Live Killers lol) - Paris [3/1/1979] (my entrance into this community was the hour long video of the three Paris shows) - London [12/26/1979] - Buenos Aires [3/1/1981] (the announcer from the TV broadcast really shows how big a deal Queen were in South America) - Montreal [11/24 & 11/25/1981] (the quality of this show is astounding)
I pretty much mainly listen to Queen live from 1977-1981, those tours just stick out to me a lot more.

#1 Houston, TX, Dec. 11, 1977 (I know it isn't the "best", but I love that it's in my home state, it seems a lot of Queen history happens in Texas) #2 Both Liverpool June 2nd, 1977, and Dec. '79 (The BASS) #3 Edinburgh 2nd night '82 #4 Long Beach Dec. 20, 1977 #5 Rosemont '80 (Jailhouse Rock/WWRY opener was sweet, and excellent NIH)
Honorable mention: Melbourne, Apr. 17, 1985 (gig too short, what we have is excellent though, A+ KYA and very good STL and KQ)

Surprised so many people list Milton Keynes as one of their favourite gigs. In my opinion the other shows from the UK Hot Space tour (Edinburgh/Leeds) are a lot better.

Birmingham 1980. Was my first Queen gig, nostalgia really. Do really like the Japan tour 1975/76 too.

Surprised so many people list Milton Keynes as one of their favourite gigs. In my opinion the other shows from the UK Hot Space tour (Edinburgh/Leeds) are a lot better. Maybe because it is the best known European show from that tour. Anyhow, it feautures a band having lots of fun and the best live versions of many songs: - Play the game: I really like the "your bloody life" line, rest of the song is perfect, too
- Somebody to love: By far the best version of this song - even better than on record. "Are you ready brothers and sisters?" - bombastic!
- Now I'm here - Sing a long - Dragon attack - Now I'm here: Very powerful and Freddie having lots of fun with the aiudience
- Save me: very sentimental, Freddie transports the message of the song with all his heart
- Fat Bottemed girls: Wow! What a great rocker! Miss that one so much in Montreal and after '82.
Compared to Montreal '81 this is a better show, leaves you fully entertained and with appetite for more . Last year I watched this concert 4 times in a row (on different days - each time wearing a different Hot Space T-shirt ).

There are several STL's I'd put ahead of Milton Keynes, including some from the same tour

I know only the visual live versions of STL from Earls Court '77, Houston '77, Hammersmith '97, Montreal '81, Milton Keynes '82 and Tokyo '85. And here I clearly choose Milton Keynes as the outstanding live version: the song is delivered very vital. Listening to the song with high volume and 4 12'' subwoofer is really an outstanding experience!

I also love San Diego 1980: great performances of NYLT and RI. Really miss them in the Montreal '81 show! Especially the drumming on RI sounds wild and fast, much better compared to the record. Sadly Queen dropped YMBF and NYLT later - playing only one John song (AOBTD). I wished they would have played SYW at the Game tour again.
