Let's start a thread about Freddie vocal moments! It could be certain notes he hit, tones on certain songs, or other trivial things!
I'll start with one of my all time favourite notes from Freddie right here, an unused vocal take from We Are The Champions. Absolutely one of his strongest notes, and I dare I say it is better than the used take for this specific part!

The whole of It's Late, but particularly:
"Let the fire take our bodies this night... Let the waters take our guilt in the tide"

In the Raw Sessions version of WATC, Fred's vibrato on the first "I've had my share of sand kicked in my FACE" is awesome. youtu.be/0V9OfcE8dK8

How do you post videos on here? 🤔 It's OK, I've found it. Some functions aren't on the mobile version.

Squeaky voice on the word 'who' in the line 'Sammy boy, don't you know who you are' Yeah. That bugged me too. He didn't take a full breath.

Don't forget "We'll keep on farting til the end" towards the close of WATC (2:30).

There's some really good moments in In My Defence. He really nails the line: "Love is here and then it's gone".

When i was in Montreux (just three hours from my home) i listened , in the ex-Mountain Studios now the Casino, the isolated tracks of Mother Love in the same place where Freddie sang it (there a plate on the floor who remember it). Well... i cried...

Squeaky voice on the word 'who' in the line 'Sammy boy, don't you know who you are' A voice crack for sure but adds a whole layer of emotion to the song itself.

I was listening to the "a capella" version of La Japonaise from the big Freddie solo set and - boy - Freddie's voice shines in this recording. The - quite - low lead vocal is astoundingly beautiful and then there's the part where Freddie sings in falsetto with Montsy. The level of control and his vibrato and his range are all a joy to hear. Perfect example of the unsurpassed beauty of his instrument (in my opinion of course ;-) )

I'd say 'Guide Me Back' is beautiful. Also 'The Kiss'.

I'd say 'Guide Me Back' is beautiful. Also 'The Kiss'. For me, the whole Barcelona album is Freddie at his best; if I had to pick, "the moment that you stepped into the room you took my breath away" from Barcelona and from the Golden Boy, "His rise was irresistible - yeah, he grew into the part ..." to "...his work was noticed and adored." I really feel like the freshness, as well as the pressure/excitement of working with Caballe brought Freddie's performance to another level.

This is one of my favorites !!!! 💜💜💜 i posted the MK one thinking it couldn't be topped. but this is stunning. at 5:51 - that note: incredible. it's stupid i know, but i (kind of) ignored Montreal for years - having played it to death decades ago! i will never tire of hearing STL live or studio. along with "Nevermore" - Freddie' singing at its finest. FWIW - my favourite bootleg audio is from Seattle 77 (the old Duck Soup) tape - i even love the voice crack @ 3:44 ("lu-u-y-u...uve") this thread could be titled Favourite Freddie Vocal Moments: Somebody To Love - find the ultimate.seriously great choice of post!

Maybe a bit obvious but my absolute favorite moment would have to be that one bit in The Show Must Go On. You know the one.
There's just something about the way he sings "on" that sounds angelic. I've heard a lot of people attempt to sing this song and no one ever comes close to doing that bit justice.
