Thank you, what a fantastic post!
I'd just like to add that I think FIS is a cracker of an album and one I still listen to often. I bought a Japanese original not long ago. I first purchased it upon its release when I was 13.
One thing I would like to say is that, with age, the title track is probably my favourite number on the album (although I do love all of it). As a youngster, it was a little bit pedestrian for me but I totally appreciate it now. It's a great closer and it always makes me feel that I'm on my own in a damaged and doomed space station, destined to float in the blackness for an eternity.

I love the drum solo in "Let's Get Crazy" ,"Airheads" is just great fun "Real Nutcracker this morning -Real Nutcracker last night !" Again great drums through "My Country" and I also love "Interlude In Constantinople." Roger also slows down for the beautiful "Laugh Or Cry" and finishes of with the fantastic title track . Fun In Space indeed !

"The interlude of Killing Time is a marvellous sonic experience"
This has Freddie written all over it > Jump time with the Barcelona overture > Jump time to the Was It All Worth It interlude

Airheads: Always been my fave song on the album. Infact FIS is my favourite Solo album of all time. Get's played far more often than any other RT, FM or BM.

FIS is my second favourite solo album after Strange Frontier. Roger is very underestimated and not more mainstream as he should have been.
