Just seen a video of Strange Frontier / Tenement Funster from Manchester and the sound in that venue is so much better than in Newcastle, so you can hear the band more clearly and it doesn't sound like they're plodding along. Really enjoyed it actually, they've nailed the backing vocals on Tenement Funster which is great to see.
I hope Roger pulls out Happiness for one of these gigs because it's one of his best tracks and should be played live. Hope I can get to Nottingham and Coventry on this tour (more chance of actually going to Coventry to be honest!)

Any change to the setlist so far? No songs have been dropped or added, however each of the gigs so far have had different ordering of songs. The most notable difference is These Are The Days Of Our Lives is played much later in the set now.

From the non spoiler thread Now for the spoilers.. going off Setlist FM but exactly how accurate the order is I cannot quite remember. Strange Frontier is a GREAT opener, a favourite. (Really annoyingly the only song that was already 'spoiled' for me.) Tenement Funster a surprise as a 2nd song, though I'd expected it at some point. We're All Just Trying to Get By A Nation of Haircuts These Are The Days of Our Lives - evidently earlier than in some previous shows. I really like it early in the set, it gives it a lightness and was a pleasant surprise early on, when you'd think it would be held back. Up Gangsters Are Running This World A Kind of Magic - A crowd favourite, naturally. But I STILL think that vocoder intro sounds bloody awful. Absolutely Anything SurrenderMan on Fire Rock It - Tyler somehow manages to sound like both Freddie and Roger at the same time. Under Pressure Say It's Not True - I like how much this crowd listened to the softer numbers. No shouting or dicking about. I'm In Love With My Car - was a pleasant surprise, with Rog not behind the kit! Outsider More Kicks Drum Battle Foreign Sand - call me crazy but this was possibly song of the night for me. Radio Ga Ga- Rock and Roll Heroes

Thanks for the reviews. Are they playing the purple or the other version of 'gangsters'?

A thought on the sequence.
The crowd at Plymouth were being told to sit down by security all night, but RGG was too much for some, and suddenly it was sort of a standing gig. The security guy then spent a couple of minutes trying to persuade the front row to sit back down before giving up and standing at the front of the stage looking grumpy for the encores.
...which kind of illustrates that RGG is a big, crowd participation, impossible to resist, anthems tune worthy of being the last song.
Ending the main set with RnR, then coming back to do Heroes and RGG would seem more sensible to me

It's interesting that Roger ends the set with 2 covers, it puts me in mind of Queen early on where they always ended with the rock n roll medley.

Has Roger put Cosmos Rocking in the set yet? Or has it been dropped as an idea altogether?

I've seen a few videos of the shows, but none I've seen yet show Roger drumming. Which songs does he play drums on? I was quite surprised he didn't on IILWMC.

Not my vid. Thought the guitar solo was a bit ‘flat’ Opening night jitters - happens to the best of us.
The entire band was flawless when I saw them in Nottingham.
