Evidently Brian is saying they are feeling "a little battle-scarred" from playing so "dangerously". Could someone explain to me what he is saying here? Also, is he referring to the whole band(Spike, Tyler, etc) or just Rog, Adam and himself? Whatâs your source? Did he say that again after Saturday? I donât think, anybody but them can say for sure, whom exactly heâs referring to with âweâ.

I do really enjoy this version of A Kind Of Magic! Thatâs a really good performance from last night in Manchester. If you donât want to be spoilt before your own show, then you better not watch it. To the rest of you: Enjoy! Oh that was excellent! Thanks for sharing!

Yesterday the Stones started their tour in Madrid. And they played Outo OF Time, they hadn't done it since 1966!!!. Another song was chosen by the public (Beast of Burden). I understand that Q+AL play the hits, but it would be nice if they included a couple of songs that they don't usually do.

Two very different situations...one almost full band and studio active... Unfortune comment in my opinion. However having seen hundreds of of artist, bands live concerts, everybody plays greatset hits & adding few rare gems.

Regarding the video for a "A Kind Of Magic" which was very kindly shared. A few observations ,Adam's vocals would have been perfect for Queen's musical WWRY. I don't see him as front man for a rock band[not sure if they are still a rock band ?] Adam is polar opposite to Freddie as in he walks slowly around the stage ,where as Freddie owned every inch of the stage. The explosions from Brian's guitar look like a bit to much like Ace from Kiss only not as good. When Brian walks down the walkway his guitar goes badly out of tune for a few seconds. On the plus side Roger seems to be drumming well and the baking vocals bass are very good. That was only one song so I will have a better look at things when Queen + AL perform tonight for the Queens 70th concert. I know that Adam is not a replacement for Freddie and no one could be but I think I thought PR was a better fit as a rock n roll front man. I am from a different time I brought my first copy of Queens debut when I was 9 years old. So it is difficult for me to adjust to this form of the band. I know a lot of you are enjoying the shows and you have paid your money so I am pleased for you.

I also struggled with Adam's vocals at first, but it was his performance of WWTLF on the live CD (and on YouTube) which made me realise what a good vocalist he is, and he really owned that track. I don't see him as a replacement for Freddie, and I just feel grateful that he has enabled Brian and Roger to continue performing live, which has to be celebrated. đ

I was born couple of moths after Queen in original line-up ended, but I also prefer PR's straightforward, rock attitude to Queen songs. He struggled in higher notes, while AL in WWTLF is brilliant, but IWIA or One Vision worked with his voice better for me. In both cases, I enjoey rarities or solo songs from PR and AL, sadly, they soon started dropping them after few concerts and went back almost only to Queen hits.

Made a decision a while back not to go to this tour, and the ticket prices/ available seats were so off putting in the end it seemed easy to stick to that decision. Also it would have meant a midweek, work night traipse to a different city (Manchester) which I didn't fancy. Strange though, that really might have been my last chance to see them again. I dunno, is it diminishing returns? I've seen them three times, I felt it would just be more of the same. Weirdly the thing I now regret is not seeing them with PR in 2008, though I was well out of Queen fandom at that point in my life. Off topic, seeing that Andy Fletcher passed away last week, apart from it being very sad I instantly wished I'd seen the last Depeche Mode tour, which I only missed for obscure logistical reasons. I suppose I'm at the point of thinking, should we just bite the bullet and see everyone while we can? In the end all we have is our memories I suppose. Bit heavy for a Sunday morning. As you were.

Saw the guys in London last night and I have to say it was as good as they have ever been in terms of the show. Yes the setlist is the same i've seen since 2012 with only a few tweaks along the way but that ain't going to change. The stage show was absolutely fantastic. Brian and Roger seemed to be enjoying it, but you never can tell with Brian. Rogers voice seems so much more powerful, not sure if i'm dreaming but his vocals were excellent. Adam was (whatever anybody thinks) as good vocally as ever, I'm a Queen fan from the seventies but this boy CAN sing. All those who passed up the chance to go and see them - bad decision cause if thats their last tour, what a way to sign off. Seen the band thru the seventies and beyond (Earls Court 77, Wembley86), this was one of the best shows I've seen. Ticket prices, high but worth every penny!

Hi,
Do you know if they are meeting fans, signing autographs and taking pictures in this tour? I havenât seen footage of them doing so in this tour⊠maybe they are trying to minimise the risk of Covid?

I got a quick chat with Roger in Belfast but only after I had cleared it with security that I would keep my distance from him. Still, he came over to say hello and he got a socially distanced selfie with me so I was over the moon (all while respecting the covid restrictions the band had in place).
Regarding the setlist, after night one I actually thought the second song in the set (to avoid spoilers) would be the first one dropped purely based on crowd reaction. I'm surprised and disappointed that it was a different one that got dropped because it sounded great and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. There are so many songs in the Queen catalogue that Adam would absolutely nail, I'm amazed that the likes of It's a hard life, Let me entertain you, Scandal and Sheer heart attack have never been attempted live, for example. They perpetually tease us and torture us - Remember the US tour in 2017 when they played 'It's Late' and 'Spread your wings' but dropped them when they got to Europe? I'm still fuming about that haha!
Cheers, Mark.

Yes, I was hoping to hear âItâs Lateâ and âSpread Your Wingsâ at least once as well. But no. What I keep wondering: Brian often says in interviews, that they could throw any song at Adam and that he could do it. Then he usually mentions âGood Old Fashioned Loverboyâ as an example. Now, does Brian like to torture us or why does he keep saying that, without them ever playing that song?

The trouble is, for every person who wants to hear the album cuts, there will be two who complain when a couple of the hits are dropped. Wouldn't it be great if they did just a few special shows which featured mainly album tracks?

On the other hand, I just witnessed 20.000 people on each the past two nights singing along to their greatest hits. Itâs just a mega party! I think Adam didnât sing the chorus of We Will Rock You once yesterday. The audience was so loud! Everyone from the barrier to the last row right under the roof and the people with seats half behind the stage were singing, waving, clapping or even dancing along. It looked really like everyone knew every song by heart and was just happy to be there. It IS the greatest show Iâve ever seen. It really is. With 2 legends +3 additional masters of their instruments and the best singer on the planet (in my and Brianâs + Rogerâs opinion). And they all were just beaming with joy at the audience, sometimes shaking their heads in disbelief. So yes, I do understand, why they are doing this. Why theyâre going on touring and why theyâre playing their hits. Thereâs a banner outside of the O2 in London, where they congratulate QAL to 10 sold out shows. Thatâs 200.000 people just in London.

Wow! Lucky you! Where did you meet him? At the venue? At the hotel? For the selfie, did they ask you to wear face covering or was Roger wearing one?

Are you sure the cameras weren't the stage video cameras? Yes, absolutely. Ed White (from the film crew) posted about it on Instagram and Brian said it during the concert. There are much more cameras than the usual 11.

Actually, they dropped them in America as well. I was very excited for those two songs but they didn't play them at my Nashville show in 2017.

Brian said on the night at the concert that was filmed, that we will hopefully be able to see it soon. Some source on Twitter said, that the plan is to release it on Netflix and / or Amazon/Prime shortly after the tour. I donât trust sources like that, but it fits with what Brian said. And also the fact that they only filmed 1 show. Not 2 like on other occasions. Just that 1 show from start to finish. I would like that!

I guess, if they were planning a physical release, they'd have filmed / recorded a few shows so as to pick the best performances.
