Hello,
As most of you have definitely realized we have had pretty much nothing unreleased Queen material like audience recordings or footage come out in quite a few months. (Besides The Miracle Boxset of course)
Does anyone know if we have any news of something coming out or any leads?

9 months from now, their first album will be 50 years old. Here's hoping they're hard at work already with anniversary releases.

I guess we might get the Q+AL streamed concert on Blu-ray at some point? Dream scenario: Released as a physical 4k disc with Dolby Atmos mix. But then next to no concerts have been released like this... I can only think of INXS at Wembley Stadium so far...? |

I personally would love to have 50th anniversary editions of all albums and for QPL to release everything releasable/listenable. Box sets for all albums. Doesn't matter if there's loads of content or little for each album. Just everything that fans are happy to listen to and watch whilst they are still fans. Demos, videos, interviews, press kits etc. The Freddie Mercury box from 2000 is a good starting point of what I'd like. Right now I'm assuming that most true fans are middle aged or older (no offence to all others) but by the time QPL would get to Innuendo I'll be 70 (if I'm still around)! Still a long time to go but their chance is NOW to get it started!!
They need to put Queen to bed.
Like I said - we can but dream.

If the Miracle Box sells really really well at It’s current price (it won’t)…. It would be a valid market test as to whether we will get similar boxes for each of their 70s album (less NOTW).
The Miracle is not their most popular album… definitely not in North America. So if sales figures are good… I would think the record company would pressure QP for more… SHA, ANATO, ADATR, The Game at the very least. And Hot Space and Innuendo/Made in Heaven would be very interesting. Very very very doubtful Hot Space 50 would be a thing. 10 years to go!

Probably an "Innuendo" box set is in the pipeline. There are a lot of "extra" contents for it. I can't see a Hyde Park / Houston release coming, but Kampuchea could be a different case.
Solo-wise, "Star Fleet" is the next thing to come for sure (although I don't think that it will be a box set, we'll probably get a 2LP / 2CD set).
What would I like? The early Queen show or a 'Made In Heaven' special edition featuring the raw recordings of ML / AWT / YDFM and LML, but we all know that none of these will happen.

It's not that "not much is coming out", but it's just that the last year has been a HUGE spike in content in a very short time. We're just back at the normal rate. It takes more than most people think for us to get this stuff out there, for example, the Philly 8mm wasn't a cheap venture. There's more to come, but the keyword here is 'patience'. |

We hit such a gold mine last year (and early this year) that we had gotten used to seeing new releases every month or so. Truth is that we are always working to get more stuff.
