About « I guess we’re falling out »; I Know this was on your Work Tapes circulating studio demo. But - is it the same version/take ?
probably my favorite because of the piano and melody which reminds me the material from « News Of The World » LP : « I Guess We’re Falling Out ». I love Freddie’s vocals; it reminds me « Spread Your Wings », and he ended the last notes like on a familiar piano song; then the uptempo piano idea is great; love this duet between the piano and Brian’s ragging guitar riffs. It sounds like Freddie at found with Brian the perfect coda to end the song; almost like a second part song.

Bad thing: Cropped top/bottom of the frame. That's how the original video looked like. The remasters of the widescreen Solo FM videos ain't an exception. Except for the middle part, the Brian/Freddie duet, which originally was 4:3 heights and very narrow instead of wide. That part is still cropped at the top and bottom. |

yes I understand that several parts of songs have been assembled to make a near complete song; on the "Work Tapes' rarities the uptempo piano + the ragging guitar riff has another title "Hang On In There (fiddly jam)"
also "When Loves Breaks Up" (demo) - which I really like - rings to me memories from the past. After the choir intro, the melody of the verses reminds me the piano-lick of "You Take My Breath Away"

In The Miracle....... John's ending is really upbeat and doesn't fit the song in my opinion. Sounds nice though, perfect for a different song. Frankly I absolutely LOVE this ending, but I guess Brian bullied his way in to do the guitar ending we eventually got. Either way, I much prefer it to the awful (and I'm being kind here), "The Time Will Come" ending they segued onto the end. Dreadful. Hated that from the day I bought the album in '89, but then I've always felt "The Miracle" was the worst song on the album and it's the only track skip for me. |

It's been weeks that i listen to the miracle sessions everyday and I can tell you this spoiler it's not what you Will find in the boxset because it's ending differently. This is a mix with different sources including Little snippets from that One on the boxset. I like the Original ending with that Brian solo but I like the John ending too. John was a Genius.

Astonishing that Sweet Lady ‘some kind of cheese’ garners such contempt when the primary school lyrics of The Miracle don’t. Dreadful, dreadful song overall for me, not just the sickly ending. |

ok, I just discover that the demo of Invisible Man is different to the one on the 2011 remaster. I just skip the first time, becouse the firsts minutes are exactly the same as the 2011 version, but the last 1 and a half minutes, on the 2011 version is a long instrumental part. On this demo that one and half minutes have on top of that instrumental section a very interesting guitar solo from Brian that extends during one and a half minutes Yes, and also I think Rogers voice is clearer & louder in the verses as is Freddie in the Elvis section. |

Maybe someone isolated the vocals from that demo in the box set and merged that with the known instrumental, that is also part of the box set? I think the vocals of the real drum and bass demo could be a bit different to the original! But it would be a bigger thing this edit is a real unknown gem from the vaults and not included in the box! |

This is exactly the case. Someone got a hold of the version from the box set, extracted the vocals (using Izotope?) and mixed it over the karaoke version. A bit sloppy in some spots, I'll add. |

Oh no...the boxset version is outstanding, a little bit strange on the suddenly ending line but I think the way it starts and develop would be what they should wanted to do on a live tour. I Want It All has shocked me too. |
