June 19 Chicago show of the 2014 North American tour.
I am a Japanese fan and was not there that day, did the band play Don't Stop Me Now?
The setlist material I found on the web listed DSMN after WATC. Was it just listed but not actually played...is this kind of thing common?

If you search for We Are the Champions from Chicago 2014, you'll see that the concert ended after that song, as usual. Here's the best example: Don't Stop Me Now was played at their next show, in Winnipeg.

Later in this page, there is a photo of a woman who appears to be a participant at the time holding up a set list document that she appears to have received from a staff member. In it, DSMN is located last. It is very interesting to wonder if they were supposed to be played in this order, although they were not played after all. I found the picture you're talking about. If you look carefully, it says "spare" right before Don't Stop Me Now is listed: So, I don't think it was ever meant to be a song to play after Champions. I think it was just the 24th song on the list, but in a separate "spare" section. It was listed separately as a "spare" maybe because they didn't quite feel confident with the song and wanted to see how the first night of the tour went, and ended up not playing it. The fact that they only played the song five times on the tour (according to Queenconcerts.com) shows to me that it never felt quite right but they were trying to make it work.

Oh, I see that it says "spare". I thought it said "encore" because the image was not clear, but it sure looks like "spare" as you said. If you assume that this string is "spare", it would nod to the theory that this was not the 24th piece they were going to play, as you say, but that it was the first day and they were preparing to play it at any time as they watched how it went. I myself have never seen a setlist document written this way before, so I enjoyed the various considerations. Thanks a lot.
