I read recently that the version of Love of My Life on the Japanese compilation is a true standalone version. I was wondering if anyone has this compiliation can confirm if that's true and, if it is does it start from where the track starts on A Night at the Opera with no cross over from the end of The Prophet's Song; or does it start somewhere later in the track? Thanks for the help.

It's not a true stand-alone version. It was made from the album version. You can hear a trace of an acoutic guitar chord.
