Jesus. It'll be The Sex Pistols next. Ok, I may be up for The Sex Pistols Ballet... The costumes alone would be glorious. Let's just hope the dancers don't cover the front row in flob.

I have just seen a performance of the musical on Britains Got Talent tonight and I have to say I wasnt impressed at all. Ben Elton sang a line and spoke the next one from Days Of Our Lives but that wasnt the worst for me - it was the guy who did lead. He tried too hard to sing notes when it wasnt necessary.
To be fair though, it was done on a stage that probably looks nothing like the actual set the proper show will use.

Based on your description, I'm left wondering how a painted backdrop can be expected to make someone standing in front of it a better singer...

I didn't see it yet, but based on your description I hope he will do better this Friday, Monday and Wednesday :-)
(If somebody is interested, I have a spare ticket for this Friday for just 60% of the face value (original price GBP 98, NOW GBP 60).

I had a blast in London, love that city!
About the WWRY-shows: - Brian was in the venue on the very first night (June 2) - During the very first night a tape was played before the start with some words by Roger, quoting that everything was live-music and no photo/video/phones allowed and such. At the other two shows I attended this tape was not played. - Brian played guitar on stage during Bohemian Rhapsody on Monday June 5, 2023. - Brian played guitar again on stage during Bohemian Rhapsody on Wednesday June 7, 2023 (official premiere). - Roger also attended the official premiere (and he signed my cd!) and he came on stage after the show, along with Brian and Ben Elton(who played Pop in the musical) where Roger said some words. - Also Jim Beach and Kashmira (Freddies sister) attended the premiere.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was very good. Similar to the previous 2 times I saw it. The foreword was by Brian, rather than Roger at my performance.

Saw it once when it was new back in 2002. Not interested on going again. Yes, the live band played brilliantly, but I found the story absolutely cringeworthy.
