Any info on The Miracle Box Set

I’m with Brian’s Wig on this one. I got into Queen via my parents cassette copy of Greatest Hits and then went forward through their catalogue first and then back through their 70’s output. I remember being exposed to the Miracle for the first time at high school. I played it to absolute death, loved it to bits and I’m still really fond of it. I loved the songs, the videos, the album cover, the artwork for the singles etc. I can’t wait for this release.

I don't know, if any other observed and posted previously, I just checked the recent news over past few days, there is this one about the miracle,

So I concluded that 33 1/3 is the LP.
For sure they are going to give us the album on vinyl, as it was to be with TMLWKY.

When can count on an announcement? What do you all think?

well, it's hard to second-guess QPL - as down the years, they've take just about every possible option when it comes to alleged new releases

♦ surprise last-minute announcement
♦ no announcement at all
♦ no actual release materialised

sometimes, multiples of the above co-existed for the same "releases". credit where its due: QPL are masters of misdirection

In September 2014, the week after Live At The Rainbow '74 was released, BBC Radio 2 and Chris Evans kept teasing about three worldwide exclusives form Queen on Friday 19th. (It was the day that the Scottish Referendum results were announced.) I remember waking up that morning and seeing that Queen Forever was already announced, or at least on Amazon, and from 8am on Radio 2 that they were playing the new songs track by track.

What I reckon is, they'll announce the Miracle boxset the same day Radio 2 will get to play Face It Alone in public for the first time. It sounds like there is only the one "complete" new song though but I can't imagine it being too different.

What week of September I'm not sure, it depends whether they'll want to announce it on Freddie's birthday or leave it until a Friday.

It is bound to be released at the end of October or early November as usual - so folks will buy it as Christmas Presents.
Greg Brooks will want to play the unheard tracks at convention as part of his Archive Session before it's released.
So announcement will be end of August, beginning of September.

Hello there! I wonder how much FIA will change compared to the version that we have been listening to since 2011.

When FIA was originally played at the convention was it discussed at any length? Was mention made to how many takes there were? I only know the demos I’ve heard, I don’t know how many other takes and sets of lyrics may exist. With any luck we might be pleasantly surprised

We definitely know about the existence of 3rd take, but how many of them are not known exactly.
