Just wondering: I can't be alone in this... Did someone else originally get "The Miracle" on LP, and some time later got the CD and/or the cassette version? Was somebody else pleasantly surprised when "Was It All Worth It" didn't end abruptly and actually had an instrumental bit? Did I have a faulty LP where WIAWI has a few seconds cut off at the end?
By the way, it's September already and it may be days now until we find out about the boxset. At long last.

I remember getting the CD from Woolworths on the Friday before it was released the following Monday. They had a small pile on the counter and I quietly picked one up and paid for it without question! |

16 track Miracle Sessions including 6 unissued outtakes. Wouldn't they all be unissued? Or is it simply language stating there are 6 completely unissued tracks and 10 are simply alternative demos ala the NOTW box of other "issued" tracks?
One unissued track will certainly be Dog With a Bone and another would presumably be Face It Alone...I Guess We're Falling Out...maybe River of Words? that would mean 2 we never have heard potentially?
Still good to have em in great quality.

1) There's a blu-ray edition
2) All 5 singles' promos were shot on film (At least 16mm, probably 35mm)
3) Is it too much to think that all 5 have been newly scanned at 1080 or 2K or 4K? They'd all look beautiful!!!
4) The 5 singles all have existing 5.1 mixes. Hopefully they'll be reused in this set (Although the last Freddie set DIDN'T use their previous 5.1 mixes.

It is of course entirely possible that Record Collector got their information from this very thread though  I can imagine the meeting to decide on the clunky 'Miracu-mentals': 'I Want It All-strumentals' (comment on meeting minutes: 'Roger doesn't like this, it's a Brian song') 'The Invisible Mentals' / 'The Invisible Vocals' ('Brian doesn't like this, it's a Roger song') 'Miracu-mentals' ('John reiterates that this is exactly the sort of reason he left') |
