I have a hazy memory of Kes, a mod over on QOL, saying that things like All God’s People and Too Much Love were “probably” being considered for the release. But that was a long time ago (mid-2000s) and that was before the forum’s, like, fifth server failure, so I’m afraid I can’t corroborate my own story. I wonder if Alternative Miracle was suggested (by the band I’m sure, as Jacky Smith, by her own admission, had no idea Freddie was sick) as a “clearing house” activity in the event that Freddie didn’t make it through the Innuendo sessions… Indeed, a very early tracklist for The Miracle has "All God's People" as an opener of the 2nd side.  |

It's still a digit short, isn't it? Add the subsequent 1 in and it's 10 digits long. Every phone number I've ever had has been 11 digits (or equiv at the time) we did have 10 digit numbers in the 80s too. here where i live i remember my old house number being 0527 62**9 (9 digits up until around 1990) and 01527 62**9 (10 digits until 1995). having checked online: London changed from "01" to "071" and "081" in 1990 - a move to double the capacity of the network across the capital. general geographic dialling codes changed with the "0" becoming "01" in April 1995 the initial move from 5 to 6 digit subscriber numbers began around 1982, but most of the changeover itself didn't occur until 1990/91 This would mean that (in conjunction with the dialling code changes) that the transition (for most of the UK) from 10 to 11 digits occurred around 1991 some 10-digit numbers still exist in Scotland, and some towns (like where I live). Conclusion, the number on the tape is probably correct for 1989. |

"We forgot about this track a bit," said Roger Taylor, “but there it is, this little gem. It's wonderful, a real find. It's a very passionate piece ». Brian May says: "After so many years it's nice to be all four of us together." The box set includes, in addition to the original album remastered by legendary US sound engineer Bob Ludwig, alternate versions and outtakes of each song, B-side, rarities and the latest interview with the band. The box was made in a limited edition.

So, in the end, it seems the only new/unheard stuff we are going to get are the 16 tracks of raw/early versions that they call "The Miracle sessions", plus a new mix of TMLWKY that was mentioned to be included in the actual album.
And that's it! I don't count instrumentals as new, though it is nice to identify some new bits that have been buried in the mix.
I'm still going to buy it just to get those raw sessions, but it's really not the box set I was hoping for.

Possibly it'll include a surround mix of the singles/album on the bluray (judging by the fact Face It Alone is gonna be available in Dolby Atmos), as well as HD promo videos. Also, the other disc with b-sides etc. will probably include live versions, so that could contain something interesting |

It seems we are not gonna get the early versions of the B-sides (and we know they, or at least some of them exist), nor TMLWKY demo from those session. . I must say, I'm curious what those 6 previously unheard outtakes will be. Will they include stuff like Fiddly Jam and A New Life Is Born, or will they be 6 truly unheard tracks that did not evolve into any song that already know...
I really liked what they did on the Frddie box. We got to hear early ideas, early demos and later demos, so you could hear how songs evolved. Sadly, anything like that is never gonna happen with Queen boxes.
