It's interesting that even at this late stage they were still unsure of whether "Loves me" or "Does me" would be the version on the album.
There is an arrow swapping "too much love will kill you" with "I want it all" so those 4 tracks are forever locked in place now.

How concrete is that though? I heard November 6 as well. Holy shit, they'll have to work really fast to release Innuendo's box set in February!

An old colleague of mine at a well known high street music store has also told me November 6. He also mentioned 5 discs and blu-ray.
The story sure has some legs if it's not true.

I also wonder if the same high street name will survive until then....

In one of the fan club magazines from 1987/88 not long after the release of the Magic Years video boxset, DoRo said that they were planning to make a documentary of Queen making The Miracle album and at that point it sounds like they might have filmed them in the studio prior to that statement.
When Queen released the News Of The World boxset, the DVD/Blu-ray didn't include any of the promo videos and as the rumoured basic details of The Miracle boxset include a DVD/Blu-ray so can we presume that the visual content won't be or just be promo videos. As we know there's behind the scenes footage of the making of The Miracle videos by DoRo so I believe there are reasons to be optimistic.

Good point NathanH. They may very well stick to the previous content format. There is also the docco on making the album cover, along w/ interviews filmed during the making of the Breakthru video.
Personally, I would love to see and hear them share their collaborative song writing process. The embryo of some songs, who them to the studio, and how the remainder of the band influenced the final track.

There could definitely be something special as they did with One Vision, they filmed everything. Even the little links between the videos liking Roger saying video 36 or something, that's very little but that must be an extract of something else. I know that this happened with Innuendo where they jammed and came up with a song so it sounded live hopefully there would be a few songs where they literally play live as footage of that would be amazing as it would probably be the last footage of the four of them playing live together.

At the same time, if it exists, why it hasn't appeared until now? It's like The Miracle video without the kids, I doubt it exists...

Do you not think it's strange that we have videos of the crew and band on the set of scandal, I want it all, Breakthru, but not the Miracle? Officially from "the making of" we only have the kid's auditions and an interview with Ross McCall. There's clearly more, There is a whole feed from most of the video of a take of the kids run through on Youtube with no adults, taken from the Crane camera. It'll be nice to see this on an official release.
There's likely to be outtakes and alternative angles, some of the shots were performed in 3 different costume changes. This is without mentioning that there are about 30 or so photos showing Queen performing the video with a different stage set up to when the kids recorded, and we know for a fact there's at least one shot of the band standing in a line saying "the wonders of the world go on".

I'm not sure but it looks like the choices when it comes to content have been made. Greg stated that he was working on text on the back of the box and that we could possibly see a press release around Freddie's birthday. That's wat i read about on FB.

You can bet the box is pretty much finished at this point if they really intend to release it on November 6. Freddie's event is almost exactly 2 months before that date, so I guess it makes a lot of sense to announce it then. No point in saying much this summer.

This is why new interviews would be nice, because even if no Footage exists photos do and to have a making of the Invisible Man would be nice. Even looking at the clip with the silhouettes above, you could easily get a section on how that was created. I guess when we are all disappointed at the lack of stuff on the new box-set fans can get together and put one together.

I don't think Brian or Roger have ever really understood the need for releases that please the Queen fanatic. It's all about the casual fan and casting the net as wide as possible. Some bands get it, some don't, and Brain and Roger are happy to be a Greatest hits band for the masses rather than a deep cuts band for the few.
Maybe one day things will change....
Or maybe Brian and Roger will split off into 2 different versions of Queen, One playing 70's stuff, One playing the hits and new material... Causing causal fans to get really confused when both versions play in the same town, and long time fans to spend double the amount on tickets. This will cause a split in the fanbase where there is endless arguing in the forums about which one is truer to 'the spirit' of Queen; The one Titled 'Brain May's Queen' or the one titled "Queen, featuring Roger, Spike, Moses and Warren." Then John Deacon will decide to make his own Queen, But only play shows in Australia and due to a legal case from Brian he isn't allowed to use any Delay pedals effects, harmonies or songs about badgers using the flash theme melody.
In fact why not a version Queen for every country, adding more and more members each time?

or maybe: Pre-Queen Queen: featuring Tim Staffell Barry Mitchell's Queen Marquee Experience Paul Rodgers' Queen Cosmos Mike Grose and Doug Bogie's Queen Duellin' Bass and Adam Lambert's Queen Idol seriously though, your comment about the the Roger/Brian split... the only one i'd pay to see would be Roger's tour - if he had Tyler Warren up front - because he could do the rock catalog justice.

Even though we are clearly overthinking an Imaginary situation making fun of Sweet / Yes / The Animals, i would agree that Rogers Queen would be the one I'd see. I wish the original was that interesting I was so disappointed with We Will Rock You. Other band's have managed to have fairly good musicals made from their music, Queen's was pretty pretentious. The future death of music and where radio friendly pop hits rule and take away individuality.... When Queen made their own share of radio friendly pop through the 80's. Madness had a really good musical but no one went to see it, It was about a boy who breaks and enters to impress a girl and then you get to see what happens in two timelines, one where he confesses and one where he runs. It's nothing groundbreaking but it was far more interesting than We Will Rock You.

WWRY the most unoriginal idea Ben Elton ever had...and he's certainly no stranger to "unoriginal ideas"

Different places, Most are out there on google search. Some of them I've found mislabeled as being from the magic tour, like i said above it's very easy to miss them. Other ones are from the Daily Mirror online archive (Mirrorpix) i saved a few years ago, with the description "Queen rock group performing. Singer Freddie Mercury on stage. 24th November 1989." I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the dating, however i wasn't there so who knows? I think the Mirror photographer took the majority of the ones I've uploaded above (It's also worth noting the First and third pictures look like they have been taken from a video monitor notice the Banding effect).
There's more than enough evidence to point towards Queen performing to the track on the 24th as a base for the kids to work from.
Out of all the "Queen filmed this and that after 1987" Theories and myths, this one is totally understandable, there's a reason why they did it (it was used to make the music video), it has a whole bunch of photos and a date it happened. It's probably the most likely to be true. It might even be where the "Queen filmed a live show in 1989" myth actually stemmed from.
Interesting that Roger’s kit is fully mic’d up - leads n all....they wouldn’t really have bothered for a mimed video performance? Then again, Brian doesn’t have a cable on his guitar, though could have been set up wirelessly. God I hope there was something recorded as a live performance!

Drum mics might not even be plugged into the stage boxes - could be just for asthetics. Hoping not and hoping that if it was 'live' recorded they might see the light of day at some point.

Indeed - but I just wonder at why they’d bother if not all set up - even if they put mics on would they really get all the cables out too?! The ‘I Want It All’ promo video is a deliberate straight faux ‘live performance’ video but they didn’t even put mics on the kit there - same goes for ‘Scandal’ - so seems odd for this....I live in hope!
