Quite disappointing in the end. The fact that a few of us came up with a solid date, from varying sources, was more than promising. But, as I said before...it's Queen.

Elton John is going to release a rarities box from 1965 to 1971 in November with 60+demos and stuff like that...Two months ago in his Youtube Channel six different shows were broadcasted...
Queen can´t do the same...Of course they can´t...Much better a live release...

During the online Queen convention Greg mentioned that the box set is finished waiting to go out. But he thinks that's not gonna happen this year, more like next year.
Roger, Brian and Jim will have to give the green light for it to go out. But really people, are we surprised?

I’m surprised no one updated after the convention.. but greg did say it’s completely done just doesn’t know when it will be released. Also mentioned that he hopes to share some of the content during the NEXT Queen convention. But Im assuming it will be release in 2022 since the 50th is next year and I’m sure they will have products for that.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's dead in the water. I don't doubt they were going to release it, but Covid really bungled their plans (not sure how or why; plenty of other artists released extensive box sets this year) and so they're probably just gonna quietly cancel it, like so many others before it: the full Queen singles collection, Knebworth, Alternative Miracle (hm, hey!), and of course the fabled anthologies...

Nothing to buy again, just a convenient way for fans living in those countries to listen just to "their" tracks rather than the whole album. I've been enjoying the playlist based on Live Around The World tracks recorded in my country too. |

At this point, they seriously deserve to go bankrupt. Seriously, the Queen publishing machine sucks worse than ANY major band I can think of. I can't even think of any kind of reasonable logic behind it - at this point, their attitude towards releases is either spiteful or just plain incompetent.
