Thanks for posting, and welcome to the new (read: much better) forum !
Although this was released in 1985, the equipment rider included in the package is actually from the Hot Space tour, as it includes a gong. This is a pretty good insight into how much work goes into touring a show of that size, then and now.

Guess that explains why Freddie's Tele and Spike's Gibson wasn't there, also noticed Roger was still using Paistes in the list. That said, they did mention some Works era gear, like the Guild BHM and the Gibson Chet Atkins CE. Now that's one hell of a Rig Rundown though!

Brian always played a Tele from 79 onward, and it's not listed. And the Flying V was only in 82.
Sounds like this is a mish-mash put together from various tours for the box set, and not actual immigration paperwork (wisely so).

I'd seen that equipment list many years ago, good times!
My personal theory: maybe they'd thought of including the gong and timpani at first and then decided against it for some reason. The Flying V could've still been a second spare in case both the BHM and the Guild failed, and everything else still makes sense as Works-era equipment (particularly the electric piano, the OB-Xa, the Chet Atkins and the Guild). That still doesn't account for their three Telecasters (Brian's, John's and Frederick's), though...
