I recall reading somewhere it’s complete as originally broadcast, but it isn’t the complete show. Entirely possible of course the broadcast edit is all that remains. |

What about Golden Greens from Sep 1973? Why not that? What a pity! Well I've got to be honest, I've never been much a fan of the sound mixing of this recording. The vocal level sounds low in places and it sounds dry but I think this could be down to the fact it had quite a small audience who weren't near the stage but high up. It's a great high quality recording but I guess multitracks or whatever doesn't exist, so they're limited in what they can do to rectify the issues and improve the songs. Anyway, the Rainbow March '74 recordings sound brilliant (I rather them to the November ones too) plus Son And Daughter and Liar compared to Golders Green are superior renditions. If there was a soundboard recording of the Queen I Tour with Mott The Hoople, then yes I'd be disappointed it wasn't included but actually, it's quite nice that they have included live versions of every existing song from the first album. My biggest annoyance actually is they've kept the split solos from SAD and Keep Yourself Alive. It doesn't bother me so much with SAD but with KYA it does! |

I've never understood why as the song was originally Doin' Alright and then Doing All Right. To my knowledge no official release ever had this hybrid title... |

Is there information about it? going off of some of the info that I've seen on queenlive.ca a recording of the marquee gig from December 20th 1972 is in the band's archive and one of Mike Grose's friend's made a recording from the July 25th 1970 gig in Truro |

And of course he saves even the plasticwrap  Interesting to me that he didn't mention the 1970 Imperial College stuff, I think that would be extremely notable... unless he did and they removed it for some reason at that obvious jump cut. I’m far more excited by them than feeling the need to complain about the Rainbow tracks. I'm guessing that since you believe that the inclusion of the Rainbow tracks deserves pointing out as a negative, due to the fact that they were previously released, the inclusion of Golders Green would be exactly the same so would make you no happier |

There hasn't been a sticker so far, I just assumed the guidelines for PA have changed but it could also be because of non-PC lyrics in Hangman, although I couldn't tell you what those are. Come to think of it, I've never seen a PA-sticker on Queen II either and that definitely has some non-PC lyrics. |

It's because that was around the time that Brian realized he subconsciously based SWAFIB on a riff from another song. Once he did, that artist got a writing credit for SWAFIB. They probably just didn't wanna deal with the royalties involved for that for the boxset. |

With this, the band would try to polish and improve some aspects before professional recording.

They might exist on cassette for the band’s own personal edification. I sincerely doubt at that stage in the band’s career they were professionally recording gigs in releasable quality just for practice.
