Just found this removing the center channel from All Dead, All Dead (by Freddie). A bit like how that little vocal phrasing might actually sound without that unnecessary pitch distortion - in my opinion.

I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. You mean that they deliberately changed this phrase digitally a few years ago before releasing it on the box set, to fit their (2017) "vision"?
If that's the case, it's time to stop trusting anything I hear on the official releases.
