Brian only played about 30 minutes in Chicago to open the AW tour as part of a big mutiple stage thingie that was dubbed "Rockstock". Unfortunately, Brian was relegated to a small third rate stage (no fan seating - standing body to body only) on a hot asphalt parking lot in 90 F + heat with Brian and the band having to stare into the blinding sun. Unfortunately, none of the fans thought to toss sunglasses on stage for Brian and the band to use. The lack of sunglasses did not matter, as Brian and the band kicked ass anyway. Brian and Jamie were particularly excellent for China Belle.
My only regret was having to endure a horrible band called Monster Magnet in order to get near the stage for Brian's concert.

Sorry no photos ... did not have a cell phone back then or a camera, and was ambivalent about photos.

Set list was shortened but also different. The Queen medley ended with 'We Will Rock You' instead of 'The Show Must Go On'. I don't have any recordings but I am 100% sure about it.

My hazy recollection is that Hammer to Fall was the last song, as indicated in the link.

Yes, but Tear It Up and We Will Rock You should be swapped.

How do you remember the set list?

It was posted in the QMS back in the day.
Plus, it makes a lot of sense that it was like that: TIU segued from where it came from as it would remain during the whole tour. And WWRY delivers a more spectacular finale to the medley rather than Tear It Up which is way less known.

Will ask some of my relatives who lived in Orland Park at the time if they went to this show

I went to this show. I will have to scan in some pics I took. Also met Brian at the Guitar Center out that way. That was the only US show for Another World, so I made the trek from Michigan.

Being I am from the western suburbs of Chicago, I was fortunate that the concert was an hour away, and the Guitar Center was only 30 minutes or so away.

How do I go about posting the pics? Do I have to host them somewhere? If so, is there anywhere free online where I can do so?

You could upload them to imgur, although I believe that would compress them (lossy), but from there I believe you can use the button Insert Image in the text editor here and feed it the link to the image you just uploaded. (if you want to also upload the uncompressed images the best way I can think of is uploading a zipped folder containing them to something like Mega and sharing the download link here)

Also possible, I personally don't like Onedrive's interface that much though, but it's down to preference, in terms of what it can do it's an okay option as well

Thanks for posting !

No problem and thanks. I had a few other photos from the show, but those were the best ones. Bummed the close up I took of him at the in store is a little washed out. He was posing for photos with people until his handler made him hurry it up. Still I got him to look up for my pic.

How lucky you are to have been there. saintjiub is gonna be tickled pink. Yeah, U.S. appearances from any Queen members were few and far between at that point. I never dreamed we'd have a tour with Rodgers and three with Lambert since then. My friend who went with me managed to get two things signed by Brian at the instore. A woman in front of him just wanted a picture and he asked her if she would get his CD signed. Makes me mad I didn't think of it first haha. He signed my A Night At The Opera CD.
