Hi everyone.
Today I share with you the review of a Queen show: it is the concert on Friday 18th November 1977 at the Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Titled Queen - live mediocrity and written by journalist Tim Yagle, it was published in The Michigan Daily (the independent student newspaper of the University of Michigan published in Ann Arbor) on 22nd November 1977.
All in all it's a positive review (several songs and the show's finale are praised), although Yagle criticized the lack of vocal harmonies in songs like 'Somebody To Love' and 'You're My Best Friend' and criticized found both the acoustic set and Brian May's guitar solo boring.
Enjoy!

"Symphonic music was aired over the speakers instead of the usual rock before the band took the stage"
I thought it was only during the European Races Tour, when they were using symphonic/piano music before the show.
I'd love to know which piece exactly they were playing.
Anyway, thanks for all these reviews.
