Hi all.
This review is from Queen's concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 27th July 1982; journalist Nelson George recounts the proceedings in an article published in Billboard magazine on 14th August 1982.
George highlights the deficiencies of the 'Hot Space' album, which was not appreciated by the American crowd; he claims that the material contained in it and played on the Madison stage (such as 'Body Language' and 'Action This Day') did not enthuse the audience in the way that 'Another One Bites The Dust' did for example two years earlier; in fact, he claims that the sold-out audience only got excited when the band played the old hits from the seventies. A sometimes positive and sometimes negative review, which also leaves room for Billy Squier's opening set. Enjoy!
