Hi everybody.
Today I share with you a long article (a full page) regarding Queen's show at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on 5th June 1982; the article in question, entitled Bring on the funkateers and accompanied by some photographs taken by Steve Rapport during the day, was published in the On The Road section of the music magazine Sounds on 12th June 1982.
Joan Jett, Teardrop Explodes and Heart performed on stage that day before Queen and in fact the first part of the article is dedicated to them; subsequently, the Queen concert is reviewed. The band is defined as one of "the most experienced bands in the world at touring places of the Bowl's scale - a testament of their staying power and support worldwide" and their concert was well reviewed.
