Woah, why did Queen have a photoshoot where they were shirtless? Not only that, but the pictures are taken in a way that it makes it look like a nude photoshoot. That said, why does male nudity seem to unsettle you?  |

It just seems sorta weird that they did a photoshoot like that. It is weird AND unsettling. It's not like Queen was ever one of those boy bands with good looks trying to woo a female audience. The choice is odd for sure for Queen. For New Kids on the Block or Menudo, it is totally fine. They seemed uncomfortable in those pics anyway. Especially Brian. |

I suppose Brian and John weren't all that comfortable although I may be wrong. It may have been a shock for them but they weren't actually naked, so who cares. Just one more thing they did for the fame and to blend into the business, and surely it wasn't the weirdest one all things considered.
Then again, you should probably start thinking that they weren't a band of saints. They were always very normal human beings: there was bad blood with some song credits, they had strong arguments, they had tantrums and meltdowns, they divorced multiple times, they nearly broke up as a band after The Works... Brian even joked that they lasted longer than any of their marriages. Also, they went to parties where sex and drugs were a given. Freddie and Roger were party animals, while Brian and John probably enjoyed their time quite a lot too.
I mean, I'm not big into their personal lives and never was, but I know that after reading only some rose-tinted biographies and later on finding out how things really were behind the scenes, I understand that some innocent fans may be surprised their history wasn't all that sweet. You only need to know that many of their songs are about their personal experiences. And quite honestly, they're quite mellow compared to the average rock stars...
