Hi,
So I discovered some threads on here that catalogue all of the documentaries about Queen (great work guys, really nice, comprehensive collections!). I am very interested in watching some, but there have just been SOOO many over the decades, I don't know if I really want to go through and watch every one of them lol. Does anyone have any recommendations about which of the Queen documentaries are particularly good/interesting/enlightening/entertaining, and whatnot? The only ones that I have already seen are the Day of Our Lives 2011 official documentary, the Rock The World 2017 documentary and The Show Must Go On- The Queen+Adam Lambert Story 2019 documentary.
Oh also of note: I know that there have been documentaries from many different countries, in many different languages. I can only speak English and maybe a tiny bit of French, but not enough to really understand it beyond getting the basic gist. However, I don't mind subtitles at all so if any of the foreign language docs are good and I can find English subtitles, I'm totally fine with that.

The ones shown on BBC are probably the best ones. These are the ones I can think off at the top of my head:
- From Rags To Rhapsody
- The Great Pretender
- The Story Of Bohemian Rhapsody
- Classic Albums: A Night At The Opera

I have seen quite a few of the Queen docs through documentary torrent sites and quite liked them. However, the 1975 gig that was also on the box has been recorded and will be viewed with much nostalgia and joy (as in the type of Joy that the Elf has been exhibiting as of late). |
