I need to update the UK singles and album document I made featuring all the chart positions Queen had in the UK. It's up to November 2019 I think. That should really show the power of Queen in the charts.

I have been watching Queen chart history since 2007, they are really great, huge digital sales from 2003 and onwards, great streaming, their constant good sales through the years from GH compilations, studio albums and especially music DVDs. That was a key factor for the making the movie and also for its huge success. It is the proof that, they have a very good popularity through the years. The only thing they are missing is great sales for peaking positions, especially the first week, something during the 80s and 90s and early 2000s had. But they still have very good chart run. The higher peak is also influenced by the time of the release. For example Iron Maiden and some other bands release their albums during low sales period and less competition, so they get higher positions, but the next week have big drop. The Beatles are a league on their own, within few weeks manage to capture sales of a whole year. Not only Queen are still doing very well in UK in all formats vinyl, cd, digital downloads, video sales and streaming.
They also have a new peak for Greatest hits in USA #7 previous peak was #11
A wave of catalog titles impacts the Top 50 following a huge vinyl sale at Walmart. Big movers include Queen’s Greatest Hits (#7, +165%), Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours (#10, +78%), CCR’s Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits (#18), Bob Marley & the Wailers’ Legend (#20) and Nirvana’s self-titled album (#27).
