I've got some books with a lot of beautiful photographs but it's very difficoult to scan without ruin or damage the pages... Hardcover editions are very hard to scan, with a flat scanner, without distort the images... Suggestion? Thanks

How about making a hi-res photo in good lighting conditions and correcting distortion with software? or a good quality hand-held scanner maybe? There are also some expensive variants (hardware with included software) out there, I believe.

I tried the hi-res photo but it's almost impossible to correct properly the distorsion. I've got an hand-held scan too but the resolution is only 300 dpi and , for me, isn't enough. I try to scan The Studio Collection booklet with the hand-held and the result is horrible plus a scratch on the page... Anyway thanks for the suggestion

Mmm i'll try that apps. The main task is to eliminate the distorsion at the center of the book. I work with raw files while the mobile camera takes shot in jpg, a compressed format. Never say never, if the results looks fine well... be prepared!
