This is absolutely terrible! They've made the audio and video quality 100x worse like they always do. Why hasn't somebody stopped Hernan Snow yet?! How haven't they gotten into any kind of trouble with QPL yet?

A couple days ago I looked for Chief Mouse's Live Aid restoration of Queen's performance on YouTube and was very disappointed to not find it. I ended up watching another version, quite inferior in comparison. How disappointing!  |

It was blocked by "Queen + Adam Lambert Tour." I posted the Rainbow Concert and a "pre pitch correction" version and also the Hammersmith Concert also with the "Pre overdubbed" version. A few other concerts I uploaded were blocked as well by the same thing. I even disputed the claims and they rejected them.

Chief's version is FAR superior. Of course his version is better. Snow Productions/My Queen Collection just steals official material or other people's content and destroys the video and audio quality and sells it for most likely a higher price (don't quote me on that last bit). |

Probably the producers of the program used footage from YT. But in my opinion, if Queen wanted to have at least good documentaries or programs about them, they should ask and use their fans. There are fans here who could do fabulous work. |

You're equating the sharing of content that's in a grey area (alternative versions of officially released concerts, cf. radio broadcast of Milton Keynes), which *may or may not* fall under 'fair use', with the SALE of bootlegs, which is illegal. |

Look at what the rules say about sharing stuff on here and how they are easily sidestepped. This asshole's been doing this for decades. I remember i shared an unreleased Freddie 1995 docu with the fans 6 years ago. Within days it appeared on his website for sale.
That's how it goes people, like Headlong, nothing you can do about it. I agree with everyone here. Our chief does fabulous work but sadly there's also people like Hernan Snow on the lookout to rip it, redo the artwork and then try to sell it. It's sad but that's just the way it goes. And with him many others are doing this. But i agree with everyone here.

But Amazon easily gets away with it/doesn't care because they are so big and powerful. I mean people have found counterfeit makeup on Amazon, which is very DANGEROUS (some people have apparently nearly gone blind or such from using counterfeit makeup) and they should NOT be selling stuff like that, though admittedly of course makeup is a very different example from music. In my opinion, what this person is doing (taking someone else's work and claiming it as their own and *selling* it as a bootleg) is very clearly much more "wrong" than what Chief Mouse did with his restoration, though of course some may disagree. |

Maybe this is a huge coincidence, but when you google "Snow Producciones", the first result is this Argentinian wedding photography studio called "Snow Producciones" and run by Romina and Hernan. Apparently that's how he makes a living, when he isn't profiting on Queen's music and other fans' audio/video magic. |

Those stems have been taken straight from the movie. The phrasing in "share of sand kicked in my face" in the WATC performance was edited to match Rami's mouth movements and that same edit appears on Snow's example there. For accuracy alone, Chief's is superior...
