So we've got a few Christmas (and related) songs by Queen, Brian and Roger. What do you think is the best one?
I've always liked "Thank God It's Christmas" but I think I prefer Roger's "Christmas in Love" song with ZOAK (Kyle McKearney). It feels more festive for me.
I'd love to figure out how Roger and Kyle teamed-up for the song for the Christmas Carol movie. I guess Kyle was a guitarist on the Queen Extravaganza tour?

A Winter's Tale, even though it's not exactly a Christmas song. Also, you're missing an option: I Dream of Christmas by Anita Dobson (with May and Deacon).

You have it set so we can vote for up to 4 options. You might consider fixing that.
As for the question, I suppose TGIC. While A Winter's Tale is the better song, it's not as Christmassy. And I doubt it was intended as such.

TGIC. Lyrically not great, but it has a beautiful melody and Freddie's voice is stunning on it. It's ALWAYS on my Christmas playlist!

Well, I've been a total fail setting up the poll...lol
Hopefully it's fixed now. Sorry.
I had forgot about I Dream of Christmas also.

As a song, IDOC is the best.
As a performance....not so much.

Okay, I retract my vote and would suggest adding this to the poll.
It may be a cover, but it's a classic, and Freddie sounds WONDERFUL. Crap recording though, haha, but better than I could have hoped for!

Crap recording though, haha, but better than I could have hoped for! A soundboard recording of this was going to be included in The American Dream documentary but Brian and Roger didn't like the performance. I can see why as there are some mistakes but it's the novelty of the performance which makes it epic!

what about Roger’s Magic is loose ? it couldn't be more unrelated to Christmas if it tried to: Almost like Christmas But the calendar's wrongmeans - it really isn't Christmas at all.

But to be fair - Jona Lewie's "Stop The Cavalry" is considered a Christmas song for a single line, "Wish I was at home for Christmas". Which is just as oblique a reference, if you ask me.

Almost like Christmas But the calendar's wrong

Why, back in '76, upon hearing 'Teo Torriate' for the first time, did I think : 'That's a Christmas tune' ? If Queen (or Brian) had wrote a Christmas lyric instead, it would be an all-time great in the Christmas song pantheon. (And this thought has never left me)

Wait, is One Beautiful Christmas Day available already? Why would it be in the poll otherwise?
