Vaccine Damage is a very real thing, like any medication some people can react to it in a way that leaves them debilitated for life, it's very rare but it happens. Having questions over vaccines which have been rushed through trails isn't a bad thing. You are correct in what you say, but, it’s a question of probability. We are way way more likely to be killed or injured going to a rock concert than we are by a vaccine. And we are way way more likely to be killed or made sick by covid than we are by the vaccine. Absolutely.

Sorry to hear that. I didn't see any aggression. I think we need to give each other some slack during this COVID time. I've already said my use of the word "aggression" was wrong, but I didn't see any 'personal' remarks towards RBS either. As has been said, things can get a little tense in these topics, and it's a fine line for forum staff to either allow a simmering issue to cool naturally, or step in before it boils over. At about 1am, I may have jumped in too soon, but it was with the best of intentions. RBS is more than welcome to re-register on the forum. I spoke to him. He will be back.

Crap happens. No good deed goes unpunished (Mods can't win). At least in this case, it appears to finally be no harm, no foul.

Back on track.... Have been involved with theatres & concert halls for the last 35 years. There's other mittigating factors that all come into play as well as 'airflow systems'. Just for the airflow it deoends mostly on the infrastructure especially in older venues like the Hammy and what can be done against how much money you want to throw at it. Bottomless pit! Most venues of that ilk are owned by US Corporations who only see the £'s and what £'s they can bring in in revenue - take a look at ATG - not making any money so they make the workforce redundant. Then lookout to sell the bricks and mortar. Stepping away the main issue is social distancing - if that remains we are limited in getting audiences in. Current venue in Manchester we have spent thousands on making it COVID secure - luckily with the building being relatively 'new' at 20 years the air con systems are not recycled and it brings in fresh air through filters - so that saves some money. Auditorium seats 1750 - with social distancing in place we are down to about 600. Touring producers see this as non-viable. Then after spending thousands in prep we are put into Tier 3 and all public performances are now banned. Sad times and I personally don't think we'll see a return to the good old days until maybe this time next year. I've had a shit 2020

Having sold virtually all of the tickets, I can't see how the Q+AL shows could go ahead with social distancing still in place, as they can't magically create enough space for 15-20,000 people at the O2. Sorry to hear you've had a shit year. It's hit the entertainment industry very hard, and not just the performers.
