May everybody's 2021 be a significant improvement on 2020... surely not exactly mission impossible eh?  personally, i'm hoping that the door slams hard on 2020's backside...let the fekker know what an absolute c*nt it's been to mankind. all the best everyone. |

May everybody's 2021 be a significant improvement on 2020... ...personally, i'm hoping that the door slams hard on 2020's backside...let the fekker know what an absolute c*nt it's been to mankind. all the best everyone. People say that, and I do agree, but 2020 has also brought out extraordinary acts of kindness and support, and in some places, a community spirit that hasn't existed since the war. It's also enabled people to reflect on their lives, and perhaps change things for the better in the future. Whilst I look forward to the days that we are free from the dangers of the virus, I'm approaching going back to the 'old normal' with some trepidation. |

I've come out the other side of this year for the better. I'm so much more hip with technology! And yeah, there has been some community spirit, but I've noticed tension between those that take the virus seriously and those who refuse to take proper precautions. Of course, this is inseparable from politics. I've experienced it within my family. It's caused some friction and discomfort. Very strange year. Anyway, wishing you all a Happy New Year. Happy New Year to everyone. I know outside of my little bubble here many throughout the world have really struggled in 2020. Here in Western Australia we are somewhat lucky as we are isolated and have locked ourselves away to an extent and limit the people coming in to the state. As a musician I am lucky to still be able to earn a living and life here is somewhat normal. I can't believe though after this year that our government has to be telling people HOW to was their hands. It amazes me that people don't do this anyway. Because I work in pubs regularly it's amazing how many people walk out of toilets without washing their hands. I do not shake hands with people for this reason, not because of Corona.
