No, and it's something of a relief, to be honest. Hopefully we will be in a much better position by next year.

I would not be surprise if the tour would not happen at all. BM and RT are getting old and the tour mus be very exhausting. Sadly, I wish they wil have at least one last farewell gig...

Well, we're all getting older, let's hope for the best. To be honest, I'm more concerned about the Genesis tour going ahead, due to Phil Collins's health.

They're old, but somewhat healthy. Brian seems to have endured his health scares pretty well. We definitely shouldn't take them for granted, but seeing Macca (who's a few years older than Brian) constantly touring the world playing concerts between 2.5 and 3 hours gives me some hope that we'll still have at least a few more years of Queen.

Fleetwood Mac are in a similar situation now, Christine McVie did a radio interview on Sunday and she said John McVie is frail now and she would find it hard to get back into touring after a couple of years not doing it.

Yes, I think this is going to be an issue a lot of 'older' bands will be facing.

Absolutely expected. Here's hoping this will mean new releases will make up for the touring hiatus.
I wonder if last year's tour would have been cancelled anyway due to Brian's health issues. In any case, this is for the better.

Was planning to catch them in Paris just before lockdown. Hopefully by this time we'll all be back to normal.

Absolutely expected. Here's hoping this will mean new releases will make up for the touring hiatus. Well... Queenâs Brian May and Roger Taylor have revealed they tried to record a new song with current singer Adam Lambert. Speaking in new issue of Classic Rock, the pair say they attempted to record the unnamed track in Nashville during a US tour. âWe did record a song which we haven't actually finished,â says drummer Taylor. âI can't remember what it's called. I think we were still discussing what we should call it.â www.loudersound.com/news/queen-have-tried-recording-a-new-song-with-adam-lambert

You don't recover from a heart attack that quickly, and to have been fit to tour would have been probably too big an ask, even for someone not in their early 70s.

I got a ticket as a Christmas present in 2019 for the show in Copenhagen. Then the coronavirus happened. I really hope it doesn't get cancelled.

I have not purchased tickets for any of the tour, due to my failing health issue's.I used to love going to concerts, but being a wheelchair user and relying on my Carer to take me plus living in the Peterborough area the nearest big concert venue is Birmingham. The N.E.C is easy to get to but the Birmingham Arena in the City Centre is a nightmare to get to.Last time when we went to see Queen & AL at the Arena it was a Saturday night and the traffic was horrendous, it took us an hour to complete the last 1 mile to the Arena. I much prefer to go to Leeds to the First Direct Arena which has fantastic views of the stage for wheel chair users . Have seen Bryan Adams & The Chemical Brothers their.Queen's 10 night residency at the 02 seems a little bit unfair on the other parts of the country.Have never been to the 02 what Is the sound like ?

I've seen Rush there, and Iron Maiden twice. When I saw Rush, we were about two thirds of the way back from the stage (so, about half a mile!), and the sound was very boomy, but then I think Rush have always been quite bassy. The first time I saw Maiden, we were literally up in the Gods, in Level 4. I actually got vertigo making my way to my seat! We were also at the side, so the sound wasn't great but we had a fantastic view of the stage right video screen. The second time, we were on Level 1, almost stage centre. Really good view as the ramping is quite steep, so you can see over people's heads. Sound was really good. Really can't say what it would be like for wheelchair users, as they seemed to be parked near the front, but at the side, so you would get the full onslaught from the side speakers.

Just a thought when I went to see Muse on the Drone's Tour the stage was in the middle of the Arena so everybody had a great view of the stage, I know Metallica also did this I don't think Queen have ever tried this ? It would be quite something to see and would able the band to be really up and personal with their fans, plus they could have a really cool lighting rig.

Youâre right Queen have never performed in the round, though Q+-PR and Q+AL gave both used a thrust and B stage effectively. Two possible reasons for this maybe the fact that playing in the centre of an arena means you have to play to all four sides of the stage, at his age maybe Brian would find it hard to cover that much area. Second, and down to Brian May again, his guitar sound relies on huge volume, he plays without in ear monitors. It would be difficult to spread the sound he needs to hear around a flat open stage, possibly. You mentioned Muse and Metallica, both have brilliant productions. But many others, Yes, Peter Gabriel, Take That, Lady Gaga, Def Leppard, Journey to name a few, have played in the round. In fact Metallica during the Load tour played on two stages in the centre of the arena.

I've seen some round stage concerts, but I never really warmed up to that. Most of the time it felt like sitting "behind" the stage, when the singer and other "mobile players" were entertaining the people on the other sides. And to me the musicians often seemed to be worried about giving each side the same attention. The additional stage in the middle for an acoustic set works much better.
