In the 1990's, my friend who was working for the 'Daily Post' managed to get backstage passes to a Hot Chocolate concert in Llandudno. The concert was great and then i had the opportunity to ask a couple of questions to Mr Malteser himself, Errol Brown.
I asked what happened to the tapes when he worked with John Deacon, which hadn't been released. He look a bit startled and said ''How did you know about that?". I explained that I was a big fan of Queen. He said to write my name and address down and he'd have a look at home for them and if not there he'd contact John to see if he could get copies of them then post a copy of them too me. If i didn't hear from him then he couldn't find them. Sadly I never did receive any tapes and Errol has since moved to other realm.
I have got to say, of all the people I have ever met. He was indeed one of the most smoothest, politest people I have ever met. He genuinely had the 'X' factor.
