Since we already have 2011 remaster vinyls, I’d go for CMI’s remaster pressed to vinyl instead, now that would be a win  |

The thing I'd like for every Queen album is this:
Disc 1 - the original album, non-album singles, single versions, any remixes?
Disc 2 - alternative versions, demos, rehearsals of all different songs on Disc 1
Disc 3 - approx. 60 minutes of tour highlights or if no tour took place (The Miracle - BBC Radio 1 Interview; Innuendo - Brian's American Press Tour & original LP versions; Made In Heaven - all the various remixes)

We can only dream of such a release. I would throw in a recording from a 'Queen II Tour' show in as well.
I've been thinking of such imaginary releases incl. artwork a lot, but I do not have the audio nor visual skills to create such things myself. Would be great if QP stumbles upon such artwork and realises the possibilities with their back catalogue...

A dvd-audio with hi-res tracks (they got the SACD master) and a brand new 5.1 remix could be great.
Every album like the 50th anniversary of the King Crimson album could be a good idea. A 2/3 cd + a dvd could be easy to realise and the cost could be lower.

And what a great one it is! I'd be more than happy if they'd include it in a boxset like this. It gives a nice, complete overview of that Era. Would be even better if they'd come up with a new show, but I'm not sure if there's something out there that would top the Rainbow performance. |
