Queen Live by Greg Brooks is a fantastic book, but it has been on the Queen Official website for at least 5 years now, that an updated version is upcoming. Does anybody have an further information on this?

Further information - it was first published in 1995, so is waaayyyy out of date. Also, that date is before Greg started working for the band, and I think he himself has said before that there were many inaccuracies that he would correct.
But, he's got a good gig now, so may not have the time to devote to a rewrite. That doesn't stop anyone else having a go - bring together the combined wisdom of Mr Scully, Real Wizard, cross reference various other publications (eg Queen in Cornwall, the Music LIfe tour diaries, dated photos in the photo thread), and one could probably have a decent stab at an updated Concertography. It's a cut and paste exercise with a long ackowneldgements page....

It was a bible of sorts for me when it was first published, and I think might have contributed to me wanting to write about Queen (don't tell Greggy that!), but I remember buying the 2004 update and being sorely disappointed with it; I found Bob's and Mr Scully's sites much more informative and interesting. (Still do.)
I doubt an updated edition would be worth publishing, especially considering how frequently new recordings are being discovered: as soon as the book is printed, it's out of date, and it seems like the frequency of new recordings is increasing considerably.
